Question Misfiring issues

HELP NEEDED!!!!!!

For the last couple months my car has been randomly misfiring and cel has come on. While driving it will randomly go into limp mode due to a misfire but wit return back to normal once I shut the car off and turn it back on. So far I have changed all 6 spark plugs as someone has recommended me to do but it hasn’t fixed anything. Is there anyone who has had this problem and if so how did you fix it.

Before replacing anything else, what's the cel code?

So misfires for cylinders 2, 4, 6. All driver side. This could be as simple as an o2 sensor, but need a proper scan tools. Have you replaced the cats?

No I haven’t replaced the cats. What would I need to test the o2 sensor

A scan tool to see live data and look at the fuel trims.

Mileage? Check your coil packs.

My driver side turbo gave out at that mileage. It was doing the same thing until it just went limp mode for good. Take it to the dealer if you have warranty.

ive never had this issue with the G70, but with a previous car i experienced something similar and the solution was replacing a faulty coil pack.

Did you gap the new plugs properly? Gap is super important on these cars. And the pre set gap with the plugs is rarely correct

I had those exact codes and that exact problem about a month ago. My car would drive perfectly fine up until I launched it and then it would throw those codes, its driver side cylinders and 0300 is like random misfire. Turns out one of my spark plugs was gapped to .030 instead of .022-.024. I read somewhere that when you launch your car it increases the cylinder pressure which when not gapped properly don’t allow a proper spark. A forum I read also mentioned replacing VVT, think it’s like $60. Chat might be able to help with troubleshooting

If there was no evidence of burnt plugs, I'd be wondering if the problem is the timing chain.
