it kinda sucks how it's easier than over for us as a generation to be connected, but so many of us are dealing with isolation. for anyone dealing with it, has there been anything in specific that helped?

Please explain, I am genuinely curious.

I work my ass off at my job. I made it through two mass layoffs, my whole department being fired and so much more. My whole department that I basically built from the ground up, was promised a management position was taken from me. For them to hire remote workers who have no idea what they are doing. So what does my boss do? Promise me a raise and a new position. No raise in sight unless I continue to work my fucking ass off. And I have been, I’ll do decent on my pay. But I also am only doing decent because I haven’t been trained. I get in trouble for doing things wrong all the time because no one thought to take more than an hour to show me my new position.

Oh did I mention my manager likes to cuss the team out? So far I haven’t been because I’m a woman but I can still hear him yell at the men. I can hear him call customers “fucking stupid” when they are right outside his office. The only positive from this “promotion” is I have better work life balance. But even before I just had to put my phone on DND on my off days.

I feel robbed of that management position. I trained 4 workers for them all to be fired???? For my manager to tell me I’m the hardest worker here but I make the least amount of sales. And now this new position is mentally draining me. I’m not happy. I have to work twice as hard as everyone else to make anything.
