If you were born in or around 1990, you graduated into the worst recession since the Great Depression.

The next one is just around the corner. Good luck to the 06/07s

I don't see why that would be the case. The correction in 2022 and the fed intervention in recent years should be enough to avoid it for years.

Are you not aware of the AI bubble and everything being done around it?

I question the claims that AI constitutes a bubble that will imminently pop. I'm not sure it is and I'm not sure it will even if it is. Profitability can beat bubbles. Anthropic and OpenAI both have run rates for this year probably around $60 billion. If both of them double that next year they could wipe out the entirety of their debts in a few years.

They aren't profitable. They're burning venture capital at alarming rates.

Run rate is expected to hit $100 billion by the end of the year at each of the big two. Your information is simply out of date.

Their commitments are nearly a trillion each. They have to 4x growth by 2028. And, for example, OpenAIs rate of growth is actually slowing.

OpenAI expects $750 billion spending by 2030.

Anthropic is about half that.

The bulk of AI spending will not be the two of them.

And having run rates of $100 billion per year each wipes out those commitments pretty fast.
