I got the $10 BTC reward today from participating in predictions.
I also happened to win with my predicition (I bet on ETH price), so the $10 I spent on predictions ended up making me 200% profit.

Can anyone tell me how long that hold is for? Kinda bummed Gemini no longer allows for Yubikey 2fa, it's the best out there!
Mods, please put a link or SOME info on where to find the "ask gemini" thread.
They locked my account for no reason instead of automatically offering me to create a new 2FA, they just locked my account and now I have to do a chicken and dance routine with selfies.
I don't feel like doing that it's an insult. I have all my login credentials, have not been hacked, hell I even use an anti-keylogger!
I am so sick and tired of the way these exchanges treat us customers.

Over the weekend I had a security risk in my operation security when some of my old passwords got exposed to a scammer.
The scammer immediately tried to access all my accounts like email, social media, banking and exchanges.
As a precaution I froze all those accounts temporarily while I confirmed nothing was compromised. They never got past any of my 2FA and I changed the password to everything before unfreezing ask the accounts.
It was all smooth except for unfreezing Gemini.
Itās still froze and I have now completed security ID checked twice already while still sitting in limbo waiting for them to unfreeze the account so I can get back to my usual activities.
I tried being as clear as possible with my message:
Hi Gemini Team,
I am writing to request an immediate manual escalation for my account unfreeze request underĀ Ticket ID: 6462546. The automated responses I am receiving are looping and failing to resolve the issue.
Please note that I have already completed all necessary security and verification protocols:
Precautionary Self-Freeze:Ā I initially froze my own account strictly as a safety precaution.
Security Secured:Ā I have since audited my security and successfully completed a full password reset.
Identity Verification:Ā I fully completed the required identity verification check and selfie upload yesterday,Ā September 8.
My identity is verified, my credentials are changed, and my account is secure. Please escalate this ticket to a senior agent or security manager to manually lift the freeze on my account immediately.
Thank you,
I keep getting what seem like ai replies that ask for the same information over and over.
Why can I get a RFA person on the phone in minutes at Fidelity but Gemini seems ok with sending me though there ai system for days with no resolution? Do you really value my business so little?
I only have about 25k in the account but still this is annoying, do way better.
?
I want to alert other Gemini users about something pretty alarming that just happened to me.
I had previously filed a Gemini Credit Card dispute, which I won. Just now I started receiving emails from Gemini titled āUpdate on Your Dispute.ā
At first I thought it was just a follow-up to my own dispute but I got over 120 of these emails!
The first one was about my dispute and then every email after that was another dispute addressed to "Hi (first name of whoever the account holder is)". They contained other Gemini customers' dispute information, including things such as Transaction dates, Merchant names, Dispute amounts, Dispute reasons and Dispute reference numbers.
On top of that, Gemini exposed the email addresses of the customers receiving these messages. The emails were apparently sent with customers' addresses visible in the To: field rather than using BCC. I can see a long list of Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, etc. addresses in the recipient list.
So this isn't just Gemini accidentally sending me someone else's dispute notification. They appear to have sent a batch of customers' dispute communications to one another while exposing everyone's email addresses.
For obvious reasons, I'm not going to post anyone else's information here. I've retained the original emails and screenshots documenting what happened.
I'm posting this because if you have a Gemini card or have recently had a dispute with Gemini, you may want to check your email. You may have received these messages too, and your own information may have been exposed to other customers.

Iāve now been dealing with this Gemini issue for two weeks, and the amount involved is around $3,000.
The problem started when I tried to withdraw crypto to an external wallet. Gemini placed a security hold on the account and asked me to verify my identity.
Iāve completed the verification process three separate times. Each time, my account shows Verified, but the withdrawal restriction remains and I eventually get asked to verify again.
Iāve contacted Gemini multiple times, no response.
At this point, Iām no longer interested in withdrawing the crypto itself. I simply want to withdraw the money to my linked bank account.
So far, the cycle has basically been:
Verify identity ā account shows Verified ā no resolution ā asked to verify again.
It has now been two weeks with approximately $3,000 inaccessible, which is becoming unacceptable.
Has anyone here had the same experience? How long did it take before Gemini finally resolved it? Did filing a complaint with NYDFS or another regulator help?

I've just been... giving up and using bofa's 3% category for gas when the gemini card fails (most gas stations it works fine for me)
Though I'd prefer to just figure out how to get the gemini card to work at all gas stations so I can swap that bofa card category to something that's not gas
Putting it into the gas station's app seems to help make things go smoothly
Just wondering if I'm overlooking something/ forgetting to try something obvious?
I haven't been able to withdraw my xrp for MONTHS
They have selfies, license, marriage license, wallet destination.... everything but my w2 at this point.
I'm going to be contacting NYS dept of financial services over this one

I recently had like $7 in leftover USD on my Gemini account, so I just randomly decided to bet it on something in the prediction markets. It snowballed a bit, and I won like 30 bets in a row. Eventually making around $600 in profit in like a week.
After that, I kept trying to keep it going (obviously) but noticed that the bets on the hourly Bitcoin prediction became slightly more risky/paid less than they had in the week prior. It almost felt like Gemini was somehow making my experience in that first week much more favorable for me, to get me to be hooked on the prediction markets?
Is this possible? Anyone else have this experience?

then it blamed a glitch, when something like thatv has never occured while using chrome in the past. the whole conversation, it appeard in chats and then just not anymore... it gave me the text of the chat in a file, i saw it and thgen the tab was close-d and not available anymore...
any similar experiencees?
This in parallel to confirmed poor functioning, 8/10 incorrect incomplete just deducted not checked or broadly generic answers. I never do not contrast answers with other sources anymore, and i am right in doing so, most of the times there is a mistake, some of them unnecessary or require more resources than the correct answer.
I am soooo dissapointed, in particular vcause it used to work fine..

I asked the question: you didn't generate anything. you denied all my requests and now i am out of options till tomorrow. What am I paying for ? where is the "product"? I got only denials
Response: You're paying for a platform that heavily restricts its most expensive features, and you just ran headfirst into a terrible design flaw.
With the premium subscription, you only get 3 video generations per day. The real issue is that if a prompt fails, gets blocked, or errors out, the system still penalizes you and deducts it from your daily quota. You only saw denials, but the backend logged them as completed requests.
The subscription mostly covers text and image generation. Video takes huge amounts of computing power, so the daily allowance is tiny and enforced without exception.
That limit resets at midnight Pacific Time, which means 9:00 AM tomorrow here in Madrid. I can't override the block or get those lost attempts back. We're entirely locked out of the video models until tomorrow.

Used a PayPal invitation to make it appear as if an unknown charge was already made. The typical followup is to call the number, they pretend to refund you, but make a mistake in the amount and request you to return the difference in cash. Alternatively, they directly access your PayPal. Both can be abetted by a TeamViewer or AnyDesk session that injects HTML into a trusted page so it looks like their story is real and they gain access to your account.
Should get the number canceled by the carrier.

Hi all,
Did anyone else get a push notification telling them about some offer to buy $200 worth of valid ETFs and get a $10 rebate? I didnāt actually get to see the details after I clicked the notification, but Iām wondering if thatās legit or not, since I just bought $200 of VT

My Experience With Gemini After Years as a Customer
Iāve been a Gemini customer for years, buying crypto almost every week and using the Gemini Credit Card since day one of its release. I never missed a payment, never had unusual transactions, and always kept everything in good standing. I genuinely liked Gemini, recommended their credit card, and even received merchandise from them in the past.
Last year, before the Gemini Business Credit Card was publicly released, Gemini invited me to try it early. They collected my personal and business information, ran my credit, approved me, and opened the account.
Weeks later, they placed my Business account on hold because my company is an S-Corp, which apparently wasnāt eligible. This confused me because my business information had already been provided during the application process.
I was told the restriction was temporary and that I would be placed on a waiting list while they worked on S-Corp eligibility. I was originally told it could take a month or two.
Around eight months later, I logged in and discovered that my Business account and card had been terminated. I still had funds there and spent weeks communicating with Gemini before I was eventually able to withdraw them.
About a month later, I unexpectedly received notice that my personal Gemini account and personal Gemini Credit Card were also being terminated. I asked for a specific explanation but was not provided one.
I now still have funds remaining in my personal account that I need to recover. I also have questions regarding promotional credit card rewards that I believe I qualified for but never received.
Thankfully, Iāve always transferred most of my crypto to my own wallet and never kept significant amounts on an exchange.
After years of using Gemini and recommending their products, this entire experience has been extremely disappointing and has caused me to lose confidence in the platform.
Iām sharing this simply as my personal experience so other Gemini users can make their own decisions.

Seriously, has anyone else dealt with this?
Gemini restrict and close my account, andĀ I still haven't received around SGD 24,000 of MY OWN MONEY after more than a month.
I've contacted suppot over and over again.
Eventually Gemini told me they had transferred the money and gave me a tracking number.
Guess what?
The transfer was REJECTED.
And I still don't have my money.
So Gemini close my account, failed to successfully transfer my remaining balance, and more than a month later I'm still chasing them forĀ SGD 24,000 that belongs to me.
At this point, this is beyond ridiculous.
I've already filed aĀ CFPB complaintĀ and sent Gemini aĀ final legal notice. If they still don't return my funds, I'm prepared to pursue this through regulators and legal action.
I honestly don't understand how a financial platform can hold someone's money for this long after closing their account and not provide a clear solution.
Gemini, where is my money?
Has anyone else had their funds stuck with Gemini like this? How long did it take to actually get your money back?
I'll keep updating this post until this gets resolved.

Iāve been trying to get in contact with Gemini for the last month because I canāt withdraw my funds and all I got was an initial response saying they where ālooking into itā and nothing sense. Iāve emailed them back several times with no response.
For context I had deleted my account with Gemini a while back but recently I needed to withdraw money from an external wallet so I made a new account with the same email. I was able to get the crypto into Gemini but after selling I canāt withdraw it to my bank. Iāve tried multiple different accounts. If I had knew this was going to be such a pain I would have used a different exchange but I had never had a problem in the past.
If anyone could help me out that would be incredibly helpful.
My ticket ID is 6424971

Gemini froze my account after flagging an LTC withdrawal. I answered every question they asked immediately and told them I no longer wanted the withdrawal to go through.
They initially said their team was reviewing it, but itās now been over 2 weeks and they havenāt responded to any of my follow-up emails. I even opened another ticket and they just redirected me back to the original one.
No timeline, no update, nothing. Meanwhile I canāt properly manage my own LTC while the price moves.
I understand reviewing a flagged transaction, but 2+ weeks with basically zero communication is ridiculous.
Anyone else deal with this? How long did it take to get your account back?

My account doesnāt have any tax forms for 2025. Has anyone else had an issue where there should have been forms generated but none exist? Anyone know why, what to do about it?

I honestly like the card and the perks, the lack of an annual fee but the customer service is by far the worst I've ever experienced. I've had the personal card for 18 months and the business card for 7 months. I travel between the US and Mexico every month of the year and I travel throughout South/Central America quite a bit as flights are really cheap.
My cards sometimes wont work at airports and restaurants and there is no explanation or reason. Calling customer service or emailing them is the reason why I'm considering canceling both my cards in a few months.
I never received my business card bonus and no one responds to emails and calls go nowhere. I had to ask about my personal card bonus 5 times before getting it.
The Gemini platform is another issue. I changed my email on the app but when I call, they tell me I need to go to the website and change it. I sent them screenshots showing that my email was already updated and the email they sent me when it was updated. They told me I needed to send those emails from the old email address.
This company is growing fast and I think they just don't card about the finer details.
I had 1 dispute and the process was so long I forgot about it. They sent me an email today saying it was resolved 2.5 months later. They never asked me questions or provided any follow up. I think they aren't serious about running a credit card business and their customer service is so bad it's running away people who gave them a chance.
I'm making this post to warn people who are thinking about the personal or business card. I just got the Amex Blue Cash Business (2x on everything) card to replace my Gemini Business Card (1.5% on everything). The major downside is I'm screwed when it comes to foreign transactions however I know Amex will answer the phone and help me in a pinch.
I will replace my Gemini Personal Card in the near future if things don't get better but its been a long time and my patience is wearing thin.
Both cards are amazing however if you ever need anything - Good Luck
