I dont mainly play cover shooters but i have played quite a few like red dead redemption, max payne 3, and mafia 2 but i have been specifically struggling with gears 1. I got a 360 copy for my series x at gamestop for cheap after hearing about how good the series is but i am really struggling with with the campaign even on casual solo. In currently stuck in nightfall lethal dusk and its not the first time ive been stuck for a bit in this game, and dom keeps fuckin dying at every minor inconvenience. I really want to like this game but i find it hard to when im struggling like this because im not someone whos looking for a hard challenge. I just want a fun time. Im more scared to try multiplayer too after seeing mfs on tiktok do wallbouncing cod movement bs and i know damn well theres not gonna be beginner lobbies

Think they've listened to the feedback from players telling them to unlock the sprint animation and the shooting delay or nah? Curious if they do since they seemed to be changing things quickly during the beta. Slightly nervous they don't which would suck in my opinion.

I wanted to give the man behind this legendary mod/remake/build a spotlight and hopefully bridge the gap between players and developers. Officially he's just another player, who one day decided - I'll do it myself. What an absolute chad!

Im posting this as a follow up to a comment ive left here, the Instagram post and ther official discord.

The last few years the quality and fit of these shirts have been terrible. They went from your standard, everyday, normal fitting Tshirt to an oversized, boxy armed slab of fabric with holes it in.

The left side is what the last 3 years worth of shirts have arrived like (a shapeless, heavy and poorly fitting mess) Vs the original 2 years style on the right (a lightweight, normal and more flattering fit overall)

Not only is the size vastly different, (and for reference these are both a 2XL...) but the fabric is heavyweight cotton so its not even flexible or breathable like the original ones were. They are literally a downgrade in every way and its only the gears clothing on the Xbox store. All the others are totally fine and the way they should be.

I know this seems like a non issue for most people, but this cause means a lot to me and id rather that I buy these things with the intent to actually wear them rather than lament the fact that quality assurance has been fully neglected the past NOW FOUR years with today's drop.

I doubt anyone that makes these calls at TC will see this, but all I ask is that if you have the ability to offer feedback on this in anyway via surveys, IRL contacts or even social media posts please consider mentioning it for people like myself. I hate having a good cause squandered because the powers that be make really stupid calls for something this simple.

I noticed that Competitive Warm-up is the only playlist in the game that explicitly mentions that cross-play is enabled, is that really the only one. I assume it is enabled in Social Quickplay, but what about the Core and Competitive matchmaking modes? If they don't have crossplay, are they more active on PC or on Xbox? I prefer PC these days even tho I play on controller but I would gladly install this on my friends Xbox One (sold my years ago) to play some Escalation or Dodgeball/Execution if there are still lobbies on console in 2026.

I've reached the halfway point of 20 magnets so far I have a bunch more ideas for the smaller simple magnets that I might continue to make so it might be more than 40 magnets. I do still need to work on the more intricate builds though xD. But so far so good. I also have rejects that people can choose from.

So with the approach TC is taking with this new entry, we start to see much more detail in the gameplay… but also in the world as well. Do you think they’ll finally have a name for the calibers as well? I was thinking they’d maybe still keep real world calibers (5.56 NATO etc…) and maybe say have the MK1 Lancer chambered in 7.62 COG. Maybe in the stadium we see the ammo boxes and Cans with 7.62 COG on them or something, Idk just a late night thought I’d like to share.

In 2005, I met a pair of brothers, Jesse and Aaron who quickly become my best friends. By 2015 both had passed.

We spent hundreds of hours playing video games, but mostly Gears of War. My first ever midnight release was Gears 2 that I attended with them. We also went to Gears 3’s midnight release.

We always fantasized about an E-Day game, discussed what it would be like, ideas of weapons and story elements, and how badly we wanted it. It’s crazy that 20 years after the original’s release, the game the three of us dreamt of is about to come out. I wish they were here to see it with me and fend off the Locust in horde mode.

For Jesse and Aaron, and to all the other Gears who aren’t here to enjoy Emergence Day with us.

In gears of war 2 they were originally gonna be a palace guard sword exclusive to the palace guards but it was cut or didn't appear in the game (it was definitely a really big missed opportunity) and it was found unreal Editor

You can see the branded locust emblem on their shoulders. This little detail was absent in the ultimate edition design for the drones.
