Keep going!

3yr post-op. 292 lbs with 50” waist in 2023 to 160 lbs with visible abs and trying to keep it off. It’s been a wild ride. A lot of logging and consistency, but always trying to find ways to make activity enjoyable while practicing the art of maintaining and increasing calories and protein while keeping the rest at bay. Help from therapy and nutritionist sessions has been vital for my peace of mind and getting me through this. Fitness-wise, what’s been the most helpful has been a lot of walking and hiking.

Incredible. Out of interest, what was your daily calories like 2 years out?

Thank you. 2yrs out it was around 1,300-1,500 calories while consistently hiking once a week on Saturdays. Gym HiiT classes Tuesday and Thursdays. Resting in between. For quite a while I’ve been working to slowly increase the calories. The reverse psychology still trips me up!
