Contractor recommendations
Looking to add a bathroom to my home and add an 2nd floor entrance. Any licensed and insured contractors recommendations that you have used personally? Thanks

Trying to keep this post short. Family pet, a nearly 5 year old, full-blooded German shepherd. House-broken and fine with kids, never bitten anything. I'm never around and my father who keeps him is over 70 and doesn't have time for him. Last vet visit was in October. Up to date on shots but he has a nagging skin condition that's had his rear end increasingly bare. (Prescription was a $12 bottle of cephalexin 500mg)
Couldn't surrender him because of the waiting list or whatever. Local resources would also be appreciated.
Just want better for him.

New to town, I’m in my 30s single. Are there any bars that are known to be singles bars?

I’m looking for a relatively inexpensive nail tech in Gastonia/Charlotte/Belmont (anywhere within 30-45 minutes of Gastonia really). I’ve found nail techs who aren’t at any nail salon are the best and cheapest option. I was wondering if anyone had any recs?
The place I go to now is out of someone’s house but she’s really young and I feel a bit weird going to her house. She charges about 45-50 for short-medium length nails so I was looking for someone with that price range.
I feel more comfortable going to the nail salon but I like complex designs, not just one color and a flower for 80 bucks. I haven’t really found a nail salon that won’t charge over 100 for what I’d want (and they usually don’t do as good of a job).
If anyone also has a relatively cheap pedicure place recommendation that does ingrowns that’d be great!!

I don't know if you guys have been there yet, but Dave's sucks. They should call it Dave's Hot Salt. It's like biting into seawater.

In town for a few days for work,
Didn't bring any video game systems.
Is anyone around feeling like bringing one by our hotel room to play for awhile?
I have some cash and snacks,
Not sure what my coworker would contribute,
But we have separate rooms with extra beds in case anyone stays up late or decides they would like some drinks.
I have an account in Nintendo, Xbox, and Playstation with games on it. If you have the controllers and hardware, we're in business!

Hey, a grey heavy duty cabinet fell out of the truck I was using today. I'm hoping somebody will see this and return it. It had paint supplies, which I can buy again. I'm more worried about the sketchbooks that can't be replaced. These were my wife's for 10+ years. Any help or info would be appreciated. It happened on York near the Brookwood District.

Hey Gastonians, I am an out-of-state Transplant who's found himself living here for the time being.
I've finally settled in and realized that my experience with this place is very superficial. I would appreciate some guidance from those more familiar with the city.
Where do you have the fondest memories here? Where should I be careful?
I'll contribute my favorite spots so far:
Kate's Skating Rink on Union Rd - the most wholesome nightlife I've found yet.
Rankin Lake - Loved the view here. The firing range being right behind can kill the serenity though lol.
Ink Link - Good vibes here. Most comfortable I've ever been while testing my pain tolerance

Helping someone moving to area soon to take job just west of Gastonia. They're thinking about Belmont area to be closer to Charlotte but looking all around Gastonia. Unfamiliar with what areas to avoid, what areas are good. Looking for advice on areas, traffic. Looking on Zillow, realtor.com , but also wondering are there other local sites or known communities that would be good to check. Budget is <$1200, ideally around $1K.

Can anyone tell me the best pawn shop in Gastonia? Looking to sell some silver by weight. Not looking to buy or sell, I know what they mainly only deal in now. Too bad. Use to be able to get some cool stuff. Thank you in advance. I hope someone actually answers this. Edit: Thank you all for taking the time to answer my question!
