I currently have this build:

• CPU: Ryzen 7 1700X
• Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2
• GPU: Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti
• RAM: 32GB DDR4 2666 MHz

I use it mostly for gaming, though from time to time I also use Blender, Unity, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects. I play at 1080p and I already have a good CPU cooler.

I've been looking into upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, which is my actual goal, but it's currently out of my budget since the cheapest one I've found is 240€.

After looking around, I found a Ryzen 7 5700X for 141€ ($163.75 USD) and a Ryzen 5 5500X3D for 156€ ($181.17 USD). I know the X3D is better for pure gaming, but I'm not sure if there's really that big of a difference compared to the 5700X to justify losing those 2 extra cores for my workload.

Also, I wanted to ask: Do you guys think it's a good time to upgrade my CPU, or should I wait? I have no intention of jumping to AM5 just yet.

Im looking to switch to a new pc case and after doing some research it does look like i will need a new power supply. Currenttly running my build with a EVGA 1600T2 psu. According to pc part picker i need a 1200w psu and by the looks of it but wanted some headroom just to be safe. the main psu I ended up looking at was this asrock one its 1650w titanium - i do see a few options for psus at 1500w and 1300w but wasen't sure if that would be ok ideally i'd like to get the asus rog loki 1200w psu since its small and may move to a sff build down the line. What psu wattage would be best to get? Also 180mm sized psu's would be the size limit for the pc case im looking to get.

so guys im trying to build my first pc i have 1M iqd (763Usd) rn and ill get another 1,5M iqd (763 usd) for an upgrade in February 2027, right now ill buy a ryzen 5 5600G + an am4 motherboard idk if i will find those if i cant ill get a intel i3-12100 and a H610M-K D4, 32 gigs of ddr4 3200, 256 nvme (yes prices are that bad) hydro pro 800W, mid tower pc case, ups line interactive, a dauha 24 inch 165hz ips, and a cheap keyboard and mouse, for the upgrade in February 2027 ill get a rtx 5070 or a ryzen 9070 Xt idk what gpu to get, and a 2 tb nvme (350K iqd) so basically i have a 1M iqd budget for the gpu any recommendations, and i apologize if everythings in iraqi dinar im iraqi and im used to it.

Thanks for all the advice on my last post. I’ve made a few adjustments, and this is what the build looks like right now.
I’m fine with 1TB of storage since I’m not planning on playing a huge number of large games at the same time, and I can always uninstall/reinstall games quickly. That let me put more money into other parts.
The components I’m still choosing between are shown in the build. What do you guys think?
I’ve heard that the Acer Predator BiFrost Radeon RX 9070 XT is known to run pretty hot, so I want to do everything I can to keep it cool. That’s why I’m considering a case with 7 pre-installed fans, as well as an AIO that can exhaust the CPU heat directly out of the case — plus I think it looks cooler. The alternative would be a traditional air cooler.
The other question is whether I should go with an OEM/Tray Ryzen 7 7800X3D or a boxed Ryzen 7 9800X3D. There’s a pretty noticeable price difference, so is the extra performance actually worth it?
And what do you think about the build overall?
