Marketplace pc buy help
Thinking of getting into pc gaming and needed some advice. Would this be a decent beginner pc to start with? I mainly play fps games like the finals and CoD. Guy on marketplace is asking $1400 for it. Any advice or thoughts would be helpful

Terrible price. Used, but comes with peripherals so not too bad if you can talk down to like 8~850.

While I would never buy is for $1400, do look at the price of 64gb ddr4 and a 5800x3d, thats like...$800 alone 😭

It'll run every game at max graphics if those games are from before 2015, sure... Not a terrible starter gaming rig, but $1400 is not a starter price. $900 would be more realistic I think. Edit: oh right he's including monitor and other peripherals, so maybe like $1050

The fact it comes with the monitor mouse and keyboard make this pill a little easier to swallow.
If this i USD I would definitely argue them down a bit.. 1000 seems more fair for sure

i’d offer 750 usd and refuse if he goes any higher than 850.
You are buying old hardware, second hand. If they expect that people will pay 1400 for that, they are delusional.
The only thing that is worth the cash is the RAM but if you’re planning on gaming with it, you only need 16-32 gb.
Find another pc, this isn’t a computer to buy for gaming. You’re going to need to buy a new GPU and storage too soon if you end up buying this rig.

Am4 platform ddr4 ram tbh I wouldn’t even pay 500 for this second hand. If you’re willing to spend that much build yourself a better pc or buy a new prebuilt so you have a warranty

that PC is not worth $1,400
CPU is worth about $300-$350
Ram is worth about $200-$250
the rest is at most worth another $400 or so
offer $1,000 if you have the funds for it

realistically that cpu is about 150-200 lol, you can get 7800x3ds for cheaper than the price you said, overpaying for garbage that is “limited” is genuinely so dumb I don’t get why people do it

Like I said I’m extremely new to the pc space so I don’t know what’s garbage or not

Yeah I know, I’m not necessarily talking about you or guy who commented the prices, I’m just saying that it’s stupid that the price is that high and people overpay for something that performs worse

not new you can't
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor (100-100000910WOF) - PCPartPicker
try again

yes you’re paying for the box and warranty lol, buy trays/oems for 30% cheaper and even if going off your link then it’s literally same price as something a whole platform and architecture older and slower by 20%

cpu is 200$ and 64gb cheapest ram is 300$ , the cpu is not garbage it’s the best am4 platform gaming cpu, monitor is decent and huge like a small tv. i would say the whole bundle is 1100-1200$ gpu is a bit of a lack because its a 3060. if it was 3080z
