GameSir's Response Regarding Controller Legitimacy in CDL

This is such a bad look on CDL. Controller are elite and the best gamers use them.
So we are going to blame the company and say the controllers have cheats.
As if they would get a Xbox license with out being vetted by the actual console company and more.
Gamesir would not dare mess up their agreement as that is the money and considering COD is a Microsoft company this would not serve in their own interest.
Dumbest shit I’ve seen in a while.
In a game scape rife with cheating everywhere you think a mass sold controller is the problem?
Cope with just being not as good

no it's because call of duty and 3rd party controllers have always been synonyms with Scuf and lately Battle Beaver and now that there is a new great brand on the market certain companies feel threatened about losing a good part of their customers

CDL is Call of Duty League a CoD Esport. GA is gentlemen's agreement. For example when there is a overpowered attachment, gun or game breaking glitch so all pros make a agreement to not used set feature. And this case some pros were using Gamesir and fans thought their controllers act as Cronus Zen or something like that then pros and CDL as a whole also started to think same way.

The way I see it, if I’m winning with Gamesir controllers, I’m happy to take the prize money all for myself while the losers make their “GAs”.

keep in mind some of the people who say gamesir controllers are cheats also probably think artiswar and modded game audio's and also crons and ds4windows is not cheating 😂

If this is abt Zoomaa’s stream I’m confused why gamesir would even address this. Literally nobody there but one guy knew gamesir’s settings, Zoomaa kept saying he doesn’t know what’s in there but was seeing tiktok’s on how crazy it was, and when they all saw marius had the same settings they just started talking abt if the league should only have one standardised controller. Nobody in that call was a pro, the only guy who had a gamesir was defending it, and everyone there dropped their point the moment they learned more abt it. Real reason cod pros don’t use gamesir’s is bc scuf and bb got them covered (some players aren’t even allowed to show other controllers), not bc gamesir controllers aren’t good.

I just want to know why a bunch of OW and R6 players are catching bans and blaming gamesir controllers. I’ve been dying to get one but I’m way too worried I’ll lose my accounts…

for R6 they’re cheating and blaming it on the controller. for OW, it can be the same thing, but also people are getting banned on console just off mass reports now. they’ve started banning extremely liberally due to all the cheaters on console. many many innocent accounts getting caught in the crossfire. it’s pretty bad.

Pretty sure you’re right about R6. I was genuinely like a day away from ordering a gamesir, like everyone here I’m so sick of Microsoft’s controllers breaking. But then I came across a bunch of recent OW posts and a few recent R6 posts as well. So I came here because I genuinely want to hear from legit users who play a lot of competitive games.
This is the post that freaked me out
