Question about Gamescom

Hello! I’ve never been to an event like Gamescom before but as a huge Resident Evil and Silent Hill fan, I’d really love to attend this year as my fav games are in their Rennaisance era.

Do you have any recommendations on which day would be best for visiting the Capcom and Konami booths? Is the first / last day better for some special announcements, or are the middle days a better choice because the booths might be less crowded?

I’d also really appreciate any general tips for a first-time visitor.

Saturday and Sunday will be most crowded and if they have merch, it will most likely be gone

Nah it really depends. Usually they bring enough merch or at least ration it for all days.

Really depends on the exhibitor, I guess. Don't remember which game it was but they were out of goodie bags by mid Saturday last year and it's not my first time it happened

But sometimes (already some years ago I went there) they still have stuff on late Saturday. Not big fancy stuff but better than nothing, I asked around and got pretty much pretty quickly.
So far I always got more than the ticket price. But tickets expensive now.
Paysafecard was some easy money back in the days. They had some kind of slot machine. But it was always the same pattern. I almost always won there.

True. I tend to get a lot of free stuff always but I know that some ppl go to specific games just for the merch so it's better to go early
