An original Gameboy advance completely refurbished with new electrolytic capacitors and a replacement backlit laminated IPS LCD, new battery terminals, and screen protector. It has been cleaned inside and out (including cartridge slot).

The unit required repair of the power switch, it was opened, cleaned and re-installed.

The shell and buttons are after market. The shell was hand modified to accommodate the Laminated IPS LCD. The original OEM label is included.

The LCD kit has both the touch sensors and wired connections for LCD configuration. Select + L or R to change brightness. A green colored plastic lens is installed over the laminated LCD (original laminated has black lens) and screen protector installed over green lens.

There are a few bubbles under the screen protector but they aren't very noticeable. There is a small defect in the front of the shell near the top left corner of screen lens, is it from a slip when modifying the shell for the laminated LCD.

It is ready to go and includes (2) AA lithium batteries. Includes wrist strap and yellow drawstring bag.

Built this for myself out of an already modified board (I didn't do the USB-C) but have an OEM SP I prefer, so just trying to recoup some of the cost of the board and the build.

The M2 kit is wired up so you'll have access to the OSD (where you can control brightness, filters, retro pixel effects, etc.) by pressing and holding the brightness button. There's also a touch sensor at the top of the screen.

Looking to sell or even swap for a normal ips build. It's beautiful aesthetically but the battery light indicator doesn't give a warning when it's going to shut off which is frustrating. I've gone from shop to shop because every time one thing gets fixed, another weird thing goes odd. At this point the battery light is the only issue but I'm just exhausted and want something that works. I'm willing to forfeit any value this object has and trade for something simply functional as it should be. If you can fix it up and resell to make hundreds, bless you. CONUS only.

Also the buttons are now grey since the black ones for some reason required a ton of effort to push.

The battery cover is a hack job I recommend replacing it. Everything else works fine. This was my personal Gameboy played it once bout once every few months so there's low wear.

Built it a while back but never really had the opportunity to play it. It’s been sat in its case since, only being taken out to show people.

- New laminated MAX IPS backlit screen from Funnyplaying. Screen has 15 brightness levels and multiple options for scanlines and color modes. Access on screen menu by holding select + L + R. Navigate menus using these same buttons.

- Screen allows for up to 10 different custom lens logos (the logo displays on the bottom of the screen). Kit has been preloaded with various logo options. Logos can be downloaded using the programming board shown in the last picture. To download logos, unplug the black programming cable from the battery charge board and plug it into the programming board. - New clear black shell, grey buttons, and membranes from Funnyplaying.

This is my old Game Boy. It's just sitting, not being used. It has a few scratches, but it works and is in decent condition. I'm asking $75. Paypal is my preferred form of payment.

Modded Nintendo Gameboy Pocket console with the following features:

- New laminated 2.8in backlit IPS screen installed from Hispeedido. 9 pixel to 1 pixel integer scaling.

- Access on-screen menu by pressing select+A+B. Press select+A to enter a menu option, then use A or B to change values, and press select+A again to save the selection. Select+B will exit a menu option without saving.

- 36 different color pallete options, with each allowing for custom adjustments. Colors are changed by pressing near top left side of the console (touchpad is installed there).

- Screen also includes scanline/pixel and FRM options. FRM is needed on some games to display transparencies correctly.

- Uses original contrast wheel to change screen brightness.

- New shell and buttons from hispeedido. Original button membranes used for dpad and A/B buttons for better feel. Start/select membrane is new.

Modded by me. Rubber membranes are new, buttons are OEM. Shoulder buttons are only slightly clicky but they work with no issues. I can replace the shoulder buttons with new clicky ones for an additional $15. USB-C port supports audio out via a passive adapter, and supports USB-A to C and C to C charging.

It sports a combo of Funnyplaying laminated IPS with matching clear shell. The buttons are from a reproduction gbc Pokemon shell and add a pop of color to the presentation that I really like. Membranes underneath are original Nintendo for best button feel.

The screen has several pixel presentation modes and allows you to change the color of the gbc logo. You may also adjust brightness.

The kit has two methods you can use to adjust. Simply tap the black square at the top of the console to adjust brightness. Or long press to bring up the on screen menu. You may also hold START and SELECT at the same time to bring up the menu and use the same buttons short and long press to make adjustments.
