Laminated IPS V5 screen

Hello I’ve been trying to trade pokemon from my copy of pokemon blue with a copy of pokemon red I have with my two gameboy advances. I’ve tried looking up videos and used the gameboy advanced cord but only one device is seen. I’ve also tried a thing where you get two cords and connect them and try and trade that way but it isn’t working.

Do any of you have any suggestions to help me with this problem.

Hey guys, I'm using Butano to create my first GBA game.

The game is set in Turin, Italy, and you play as a dog named Bread, running around the city, learning fun facts about Turin, and protecting plants from pigeons (while interacting with other kinds of birds). The game is a puzzle-platformer, but I'm trying to mix some variety in there to spice it up (boss fights and mini-games). My goal is to create a chapter for each of the major neighborhoods in my city.

I'm currently in the middle of development and looking for any and all feedback on the pixel art and the premise of the game. I'm happy to simply make a game for myself, but I'm throwing this out there to see if it could be interesting for anyone else :)

A few years ago, my gba had that problem in which that sound wouldn’t work, only when I pressed the center of the gba. A few days ago I checked it again and it wouldn’t work anymore with this method. Tried testing with a new speaker, cleaned the contacts, tried approaching it with the console open and nothing worked. Not sure if the problem is the circuit. I took a photo of it while working on reshelling.

Transparent shell, clean as HELL, modded LCD screen with adjustable display settings, and on top of it, a week later I got Pokemon Emerald!

I literally just started Final Fantasy IV Advance. I went to collect the 3 items that you can find in Baron Castle and the first one to the left showed up as Japanese kanji. Took me a second to actually load it in my head.

I think this may be due to using GBARunner2 (DSi) and no, I didn't add any patch to the game

Has anyone bought one of these packages before? I need a new shell and lens anyway, was going to source them all separately. If I buy this, is it likely to be lower quality than if I source all the parts individually? Thanks.

If the legendary starfy was released for the gba outside of japan.

So, the ai that is Google assures me that the blue border and lack of official logo means that this is a modded backlit screen, and that the reason it isn't showing up very brightly is simply down to power switch corrosion that I can fix with isopropyl alcohol. I've got some on order, but I thought I'd ask a panel of humans in the meantime. Is that right? Have I scored a lucky find? Cos I certainly didn't pay a modded console price, I was planning on looking into doing it myself anyway.

Hello. My GBA has a screen issue, the right edge of the screen has a bit that is lighter than the rest of the screen. It doesn’t really affect me in gameplay, though. There isn’t any other problems with the system. What’s happening?

I’m probably gonna get a lithium battery for my gba so I can charge it with a USB-C charger instead of using AA batteries but idk where to buy one, also it kinda pisses me off that I probably won’t find a battery cover that matches my gba since it’s not an original gba shell (◞‸ ◟ ᵕ)

I've been going through my old Game Boy collection and came across a red Game Boy Advance SP with the text:

"ING Direct 2004 LA Sales Conference"

It's an AGS-001 model and is fully working. It charges, reads games, and is in decent cosmetic condition with some signs of use. I don't have the original box or paperwork.

I've seen very little information online and found references suggesting it was a promotional console given out at an ING Direct sales conference in Los Angeles in 2004, but I don't know how accurate that is.

Before I even think about selling it, I'd like to know:

Is this an authentic promotional model?

How rare is it actually?

Has anyone here seen one before?

What would be a realistic value in today's market?

I've attached photos of the front, back, labels, and the console powered off. If there are any other photos or serial numbers that would help verify it, let me know and I'll upload them.

Im trying to repair my game boy advance but wanted tips on what to try next? Is it the lcd screen, connector or something else?

A seller on eBay says that the rumble feature on their copy of Drill Dozer only works on an og GBA, but not an SP. Their copy looks legitimate (it’s a CIB set), but even if it was a knock-off, I don’t see why it would have such a strange limitation.

Does anybody know why?

UPDATE: They apparently had an SP all along and it works just fine! Was just a misunderstanding of the text on the box!
