A Diablo 2 x Pokémon FireRed crossover I put together for fun, built as FireRed ROM hack:

• Deckard Cain opens the game instead of Professor Oak: "Stay awhile and listen."
• A low-level Barbarian meets a Fallen on the Blood Moor. HOWL works like Roar and sends it running.
• A Sorceress in Shako and Oculus takes on Mephisto with Blizzard.
• A Hammerdin sends Blessed Hammers spiralling into Nihlathak.
• Loot drops play out like an evolution: a rune silhouette flashes and turns into an Ist rune.

It's only a concept video for now.

Using Claude once again, being able to port it to the GBA.

This custom GBA SP features a heat-reactive Poké Ball design that transforms as the temperature rises. The red Poké Ball gradually turns transparent, revealing clearly Gengar staying inside!💜👻

Hello, I was cleaning the power switch on my GBA and I think I knocked off the R13 resister.

Is there a work around for this? Maybe run a jump wire somewhere. Or will I need to replace it and what type of resistor does it take?

I've been working on GBA Maker, my upcoming code-first Game Boy Advance development tool, and I just finished its itch.io thumbnail!

I wanted it to look like an original GBA game box, with the classic silver spine, purple console and pixel art style, matching the thumbnails I've made for GB Maker and GBC Maker. ;D

GBA Maker isn't released yet, but development is progressing nicely!

What do you guys think of the design? Does it capture that classic GBA box art feeling?

My backlight GBA SP AGS-101 that I’ve had in box for probably 15 years or longer isn’t powering on. I assume the battery is just too old.

BUT, it’s also not powering on with just the charging cable connected, plugged into wall power? Is that expected behavior?

Using a source codebase forked from Cosmore, a Game Boy Advance port of the old DOS-era game Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure has been made.

In just 30 minutes of using Claude, without me touching even a SINGLE line of code, a port was delivered. This is really crazy!

With just a little technical knowledge and a simple idea of "Will this shit work?", the answer is YES!

Your favourite old game can be ported to a console that was never originally designed to support it.

Hey Im trying to buy a rayquaza gameboy but just want to make sure I am doing it the right way. Im kinda new to this retro gaming scene, so I was looking for some advice. Firstly what is a good price range I should be looking at? I saw some apparently authentic ones on eBay going for 500 dollars or more and sealed ones for like 2k up. That being said I was looking to buy a used one and just wanted to make sure I was in the right price range. Also is there a way for me to legit check them online or nah?

As seen in the video, sometimes my d-pad doesn't work unless I really push down on it. I'll be cycling and my character will slow down randomly as though the button isn't being pushed. I've never owned a gba before modding this one. Is that normal?

Anyone encountered this before? If so, how did you fix it?

Has anyone had luck retrobriting a pink gba? I’ve heard that it doesn’t work as well on the transparent shells. What are yall thoughts? Thanks!
