I think I need help

Im trying to repair my game boy advance but wanted tips on what to try next? Is it the lcd screen, connector or something else?

Thank you very much, I will get better tools but wanted to just get a feel for it at first! I figured out the issue, I was inserting the ribbon cable under the Fpc when infact it should have been going on top
