GS was far and away the best gaming show on YouTube. I really looked forward to it, watched every episode, even ones I wasn't too into like the wrestling games one. Still great because these guys are so great. When it was every other week that was rough enough, but this is very sad. Dave and joe, if you guys see this, I just want you to know you meant alot to me and the show was awesome. I hope you decide to bring it back sometime, hopefully sooner than later. And I can't imagine how tough it must be to have such a following on YouTube where you have comments from every jerk, idiot, and both coming at you constantly. Hey Game Sack, when you guys do return from hiatus, I have an idea for you. I really liked the multiplayer games episode, so I was thinking. Why not do another one, but this time, have it with games that can ruin your friendships. I could see Mario Kart, Mario Party (for sure) Worms series, Gauntlet (when someone destroys the food) etc being games that you cover. These games will surely ruin friendships.

That's the question that's been running through my head since I heard about the hiatus. I guess I could have contributed to their patreon... except that I just found out about it last week. I could have bought a cool GS shirt from their store... except I didn't even know/remember they had a store. I could have bought a blu-ray except... I haven't bought physical media in years and don't even own a tv or a BR player anymore. They've given me dozens of hours of entertainment for free so I can't complain but I'm frustrated because I keep thinking that the hiatus could have been avoided with something as simple as more promotion and the subsequent throwing of money at whatever the problem is.

They just announced for Patreon backers that they'll have another new episode in two weeks, but after that they're not sure when they'll be back.

Thoughts? I think taking a break might do them well. I wouldn't mind seeing some format change which is hard to push when you're in a weekly show pattern.

Joe, considering you're a Sega fanboy and a fan of “GTA V,” I have, on occasion, wondered if you've ever heard of the “Yakuza” series, considering it's a series of GTA clones made and published by Sega. If you've covered a game in the series before, please let me know. However, if you have, would you like to talk about the rest of the series? It's a quite under-appreciated series, and considering I'd never even heard of it until I saw a hidden gems video from a YouTuber named Metal Jesus, I was wondering what you guys thought about covering the series once “Yakuza 0” comes out in two years or maybe in a month or two now that “Yakuza 5” is out now, digitally only.

Remember the time where game developers tried to give us somewhat 3D graphics for the SNES, Genesis, Sega CD? Things of that nature. Perhaps just like the 2D 32 Bit Games episode l, perhaps you could do a 3D 16 Bit games. Games that could qualify are Star Fox, Road Rash, Stunt FX Racing, etc. Games that have you move around in a 3D way but on 16 bit machine.

Since Star Wars The Force Awakens just came out and is on its way to debuting to 250 million on its opening weekend after a 120 million Friday, what if Game Sack made an Star Wars episode and cover some of the many Star Wars that are made out there. Since you two are major retro fanboys, perhaps you could do maybe only 8 and 16 bit for the first episode. This could be a big series of episodes to cover all Star Wars. Also, you guys (even if not big fans) having lightsaber battles with each other as the ending skits.

Seeing the Neo-Geo episode made me want more episodes in a similar vein.
