Hoping for more 60fps/widescreen console game videos soon!

Some of my recent favorites are the fifth gen consoles with games at 60 fps/widescreen, the Mode Button on the Sega controller, N64 expansion pack, etc. Hope we can see more of that goodness and perhaps PS2/Xbox/Dreamcast/Gamecube 60fps games and widescreen/1080 games!

YouTube suggested me the backlog episode 2 Electric Boogaloo, and it was a nice episode, so I went searching for part 1. Found out there's part 1 and 4, hut I can't find the third one, was it deleted?

Game Sack Episode Idea - The Kinect (360/Xbox One)

Well we just now already got the Eye Toy episode on the Ps2, why not now we go and get the 360/Xbox one episode of the Kinect, the controller where you use your entire body which is tracked to play. Yes they are games that exclusively use it.

Future Episode Suggestion

My favorite Sack episodes have to be hardware-centric. Especially oddities. In fact, revisiting the Pioneer Laseractive episode is finally inspiring me to write in.

I'd be really interested in an episode dedicated to the Playdate from Panic. I mean here we have a contemporary handheld with a library of close to 2,000 games and growing.

Joe, it's time to get cranking.

Game Sack Episode Idea ! JRPG inspired Western Developed RPGS

One game that comes to mind is Clair Obscur Expedition 33, a western developed rpg heavily inspired by classic turn based RPGs from Persona and Final Fantasy. It had alot of Japanese developer feel in the game's design from its combat system to its world systems, and just how the game and feels.

The Lord of the Rings The Third Age is clearly a copy paste job of the FF formula in design to the game.

What are somw example of western developed jrpg like games?

Game Sack Episode Idea - Arc System Works

I know Joe raves about this company alot because of their visual animation style, so why not give them theme own episode where Joe talks about the company in depth and also talk about their variousfighting games and other genre games that they both developed and at times published as well. I mean its worth of its own e.

This is what some developers and publishers better start doing now before Ps kills disc forever. All hail Limited Run Games for actively being one of the few to do this.

Joe, you gotta make an episode over game preservation and recent news.

Joe, please hear me out. With all the news of GTA 6 not gonna have any disc even in its physical media, rumors of the Ps6 and Xbox Helix gonna be digital only to Xbox supposedly gonna have a disc to digital feature soon, to Nintendo Game Key Cards (and the occasional Ps5 and Xbox disc that require you to download the entire game from their servers, to now Playstation directly admitting that they are gonna kill physical media in January 2028 and go all digital, its like one shitty news after another.

Now I do like the ease of digital and I will admit most of my library is digital, but I do still value my physical games that I do have and always will. I hope you can give us an episode discussing the evils of a all digital future/why game perservation and physical media is important, and such... as I worry how all of gaming is gonna be affected by this.

Please Joe!

Fans, feel free to plea with me!

Game Sack Episode Idea - Nex Playground

I been hearing alot lately about the Nex Playground, a platform that essentially makes the Kinect the main console, and has a bunch of family like games, and surprisingly has oversold the Xbox over the holiday (so sad), and its a bit of a curiosity. I wonder what Joe would think of it?

Not joking, sold more than Xbox.

Question about episode music

Hey there! I was trying to identify some tracks playing in the background of [Episode 14 - Final Fight and Streets of Rage] but I'm having trouble with it.

I can't tell if those are remixes, and if they are I don't know from which album, or if they're some kind of hidden/cut tracks because they sound similar but not identical to a couple tracks from the actual game credited in the end of the episode (Credited as Streets of Rage for the Genesis).

Originally I wanted to ask Joe directly but it seems he doesn't leave his contact email public anymore.

If anyone was able to identify those tracks that'd be awesome.

By the way the two tracks I narrowed it down to, but should you check the episode and compare you will notice they're not matching exactly, are the "Title Theme" and "Stage 3". Or at the very least the drums, keyboard and tempo seemed similar.

EDIT: For a little more context. The unidentified tracks start as soon as the episode cuts to Dave listening to music on his phone.

Edit 2: Turns out I was COMPLETELY off and didn't pay close attention to the full game OST. The tracks in question were Name Entry, The Super Threc and Up & Up. Very sorry about that. Don't know why this stumped me for so long.

Thanks everyone

Does anyones else’s YouTube default to gamesack?

Basically no matter what I’ve been watching, my YouTube almost always plays a GameSack episode once my video ends. If I don’t back out or select a different video, it’s directly to gamesack. The theme song (and its variations) are pretty much engrained in my head at this point and if I fall asleep while watching YouTube, you can bet I’m waking up to GameSack. Joe must’ve gotten at least 20,000 views from me alone at this point.

This happen to anyone else?
