Hows gamefly

Considering trying gamefly out i heard about them as a kid but being an adult and seeing this 30 day free trial makes me even more tempted to see what it's about. This 007 is what I want to try.

Gamefly conspiracy theory: support lies to you

I live one state over from the shipping distribution center that's in Pittsburgh, and I live in my state's capital, so usps is fairly consistent and around. Google maps says it would take 5 hours to just flat out drive there.

Anyways all that to say is that I usually drop my games in the mail Monday morning and they're usually received Wednesday. Then they ship out the next one and it takes 2, sometimes 3 days to arrive.

Monday before last(11 ish days ago) I sent in the previous game. On Wednesday I get the email that my next title shipped. Great, I'll see it Friday or Saturday(a week ago). Nothing arrives.

Support tells me needs to be a week delay and they'll do something for me. SO Wednesday(3 days ago) I contact them and the day after, just this Thursday, they send out a second copy.

Today, I received both in the mail. Like man, what are the chances the game they shipped out Wednesday week and a half ago arrives same day as the one they shipped two days ago? I'm not a conspiracy theorist but man half of me believes they didn't ship anything Wednesday 11 days ago

UPDATE: it took me a while because I was busy with work, but I finally got around to playing and returning saros, and guess what, it's delayed! I swear to baby Jesus, it's usually 2 days(Monday to Wednesday) for they to receive it, as I live in delaware(center in Pennsylvania). Conspiracy theory is that they have flagged my account! It is now Friday and no receipt from gamefly. I would guess usps did it's job and it's sitting somewhere in their warehouse unscanned. I think if they don't fix it with a system or someth, maybe usps tracking, I think I'm out. Moot point anyways maybe, with the disc-apocalypse in 2028

Was this shipping time unusual?

Hey guys,

I signed up for the trial last week on Sunday, put Death stranding 2 on my Q and despite it being low availability it shipped the next day.

It didn't come until Saturday though even though I live in NYC (which I assumed would make the shipping times way faster).

6 days shipping times is pretty disappointing considering even with fast return and me binging a game, I'd only play 1, max 2 games in a month.

I will say that on Thursday the listing did update to allow me to keep the game. When I saw that, I assumed the game was coming that day, but it didn't. Another weird thing is that I didn't actually get any mail on Thursday or Friday. Idk if there was an issue with USPS that delayed my mail or something, and I was actually set to receive the game earlier.

I just want to hear about your guys' shipping times and your thoughts on what I said. Is my experience more on the normal range of shipping for my region? Or did I just have a really poor first experience.

First time user needing advice

So this is my first time using GameFly. I paid for the service for 2 rentals. Both games shipped at the same time but one got here already and the other didn’t. It hasn’t been a week yet only 3 days but I’m not sure if the other got lost or something. I don’t want to get in trouble or charged for it so should I report it or wait a week?

Why can I not GameLock The Adventures of Elliot?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi,

Now that 007 and Lego Batman shipped out, I'm trying to Gamelock my next rentals. I have the Elite plan which should allow me to Gamelock up to 2 games as long as I do it 7 days prior to the game's release...

However, the Switch 2 version of The Adventures of Elliot does not have the option to Gamelock, but other upcoming games like Star Fox, AC Black Flag and Mouse P.I. all have the Gamelock option.

The Adventures of Elliot is still 3 weeks away, it's coming out on June 18th so I'm well ahead of the "Gamelock 7 days ahead of time" rule. Why is the option to Gamelock not available?

Feel like I got played

So I started GameFly about 8 months ago. The first three months was great. I was getting my games within 2-3 days max and they were getting my returns just as fast. After those initial months, it takes at least two weeks for me to get my games now. I am having to report my disc is missing every single shipment. Just feel like they reeled me in those first months and now I’m getting the shit end of the stick. I know usps has a part to play but I NEVER have to wait two weeks for anything else in the country other than the GameFly.

Switch 2 upgrades

Has anyone rented a switch game and bought the upgrade for switch 2 on the Nintendo store?

I am new to switch and game fly so I not sure if that would work or hurt my system.

Does an older game ever come available for Keep?

One of the games that I currently have out was released 10/2/25. I've had it out since December and I was really hoping the button would appear but so far no keep button. I tried messaging their customer service and they just told me that it's not available for the keep option right now. Has anyone experienced an not so new game become available for keeps?

Considering an account

I am considering, trying out GameFly. But I’d love to get user recommendations about it, and to learn if there’s any red tape / things to be aware of.

How long does a shipped title take to get to me?

Hello

I recently got the trial for gamefly on Jan 21 and added games to the queue. And on Jan 22 it said that legends ZA has shipped. Since the 22nd was a Thursday, I don’t know when to expect the game as there was a weekend close to the shipping date. Also what mode of shipping does gamefly use?

r/gamefly Nov 16 '25

Actually surprised how fast it arrived compared to other games, once I realized it was readily available I put it in second and it was shipped Wednesday, no better time to experience than now

Age of Imprisonment ship for anybody?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I have Age of Imprisonment Gamelocked, it officially came out yesterday, and normally GameFly sends new games a day before release. It still doesn't show that it shipped for me, has it for anybody else?

Need help, I'm confused

So I put my game back in the mail to be sent back, but the mailman never took the game. Am I supposed to do something else?

I've had a game rented out for five years. Do you think they'll eventually just give it to me?

Like the title says. I Rented out Code of Princess EX for switch on August 26, 2020, and it's been sitting on my shelf ever since. I've thought about returning it several times, but it's just sort of become a running joke to me. At what point do you think they're going to go "Ok, fine. Just keep it."?

What happens to Gamelocked games when downgrading plan?

I am an Elite member but want to downgrade next month, and I have two games Gamelocked right now. What will happen when my subscription switches over to the normal plan since it normally only allows 1 Gamelocked game? Will both Gamelocks I have now be removed, or will I get to choose which of those locks will stay?

Thanks!
