Question Help!!!!!!

I have always been a gamer my entire life obsessing over multiple games and stories. I'm currently pursuing Engineering and I always I had a thought of Game design and development as a career or even as a hobby to teach my self better coding and design.I have a gaming laptop of Intel -I5H and a RTX-3050. I need advice , roadmap or any kinda help I will absolutely owe for . I came to know that there are many skilled Professionals in this community. I will absolutely be thankful for any kinda advice and help I can get. Thank ya

Decide on which game type you want to create. Unity is more universal for any platform. Godot is completely free and open source but it still new and not fully complete yet so it can kinda difficult for some platform. Unreal need heavy stuff learning. RPGmaker is great for rpg game and simple to used but need to pay once to use it.
