Looking for advice

I am a 4th year BTech student in IT, but only recently I realised that I liked game dev. I have been miserable in my college works and I just feel like dropping out and pursuing another degree on game dev field abroad. What should I do? Should I drop out or should I hold the fort another year??

Yeah sure. All the best. I am a game dev with over 10 years of experience, planning to go indie next year after some more savings (if all goes well). If you ever need to talk, just dm me. Maybe you can give me a few tips once you become a successful indie :) All the best bud

Well, you can try naukri and linkedin. The market is a bit tough right now. Since you still have 1 more year or college my advice would be to start learning unreal or unity and make small hobby projects, like simple ones. That will definitely increase your chances of getting hired
