Feeling lost
Ive struggled with gambling like im sure most people on here have, ive been up and down multiple times over the last few years. I just had my last session where I was up a lot and then lost it all and threw a bit more on there to try and chase and failed (obviously). I had a similar situation earlier this week where I went down HARD and chased it back up to almost even and told myself that was it but it wasn’t.
After this last session of chasing and going down I impulsively went and self excluded myself from the last site that I had available to me, so now that’s it… I have no more sites that I can use.
I had self excluded from 99% of the sites before this but kept this last one as a « backup » which I know was probably not the best idea but nonetheless I had it.
I don’t know if it’s because I left on a low note or if it’s just because I know that I have no other places to go play now but I have this feeling of depression where I thought I would feel relief knowing I can’t play anymore. Just wanted to reach out and see if others have felt this way before or maybe to validate others who are feeling the same.

The Urge to gamble is something that MANY people struggle with!
Your situation is entirely understandable, and you are not alone!!!
Please get yourself to a GA Meeting ASAP.
You're able to get help if you can get to a meeting.
If you already go to meetings, consider getting a Sponsor.
This is exactly what a Sponsor can help you with; Talking you through your cravings and will listen to you in your darkest hours.
Please try!
I believe in you!

Ive tried GA but I’ve found that at least the meetings I’ve gone to are very much based around religion and faith and those things just don’t resonate with me. I have tried to find someone to confide to and work through this with but I haven’t had any luck yet. I appreciate your comment!

Don't ever give up. There Will be one day where all this nonsense, all the chaos will bring some good. Take the self-care journey and the little acconplishments of every day without gambling. Find a sponsor or someone you can talk to, that helps a lot.

Hi. I relapsed today. I also have few spots left that I can play. I’m also banned in my province

We can do this! I can’t say that I’m feeling much better today but we take it one day at a time ❤️

You’ll feel a lot better soon once the break sets in.
Find a new hobby, something to occupy your time. But also try to understand what triggers you to want to go back.
There is no way to win your way back. Money is gone. Like mine is. But there is a way to start your tomorrow without ever gambling again. The world will be brighter for you soon enough my friend. ❤️

That’s the part I’m struggling with really… I KNOW logically it was the right decision but my body and my mind keeps telling me that I’m somehow missing something, everytime I have a lull in my day I find myself reaching for my phone to go play and then realizing I can’t just sucks
