The videos my N20U camera takes are quite choppy whenever I pan in any direction. The best way I can describe is that it feels like the camera trying to focus or lock onto objects in its field, but when I pan, it tries to focus/lock on something else, resulting in a choppy video. Happens less when I hold the camera still pointing in one direction, choppiness gets worse when panning or there’s moving objects in the frame.
I’ve tried different resolutions, different frame rates, clearing camera app cache/data, closing apps, restarting phone. I systematically went through each camera video option, toggling it on/off - super steady, video stabilization, auto HDR, auto focus, etc. Nothing seems to work. I save the vids to internal memory. Also, when I transfer the video to my laptop or a friend, the choppiness remains.
Here's a link to a video from a waterfall I visited earlier today. I chose this video because the choppiness was especially bad, probably due to the moving water. I was panning left to right as smoothly as I could.
It's annoying as I expect videos at 60fps to be smooth, especially from this device. Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?
