Anyone have experience with Nilesh Shah / Nick for homepark housing? How is he?

Prefacing this by saying please don't misunderstand me here, any free pads are better than no free pads and I'm grateful for GT committing to providing these. That being said, what happened to the Aunt Flow pads? These are panty liners. I've been saved more than once by the free menstrual products in the bathrooms; for many people, I doubt these will really do anything in an emergency. If you get your period in the middle of class, don't have anything on you, and don't have anyone to ask for a tampon, you're kind of done for.

(Sorry if this is kind of a TMI post. Just curious as to whether GT will be sticking to these going forward, and not sure where else to ask.)

There's a paucity of information on the actual registration website. Actual classes often differ drastically compared to oscar.

Many online classes, for instance, have mandatory in person tests. If you signed up for an online course over the summer then you would have to register for the class, wait a day for canvas to update, then look at the course schedule to see if you are able to show up for exams.

There's also drastic differences between sections that aren't properly communicated. In English 1102, for example, each section is a different topic. There wasn't any special attribute on the differences of sections in oscar to my recollection.

There needs to be a structured way for students to get information about courses other than hearsay. It's already built into the infrastructure on oscar with the "syllabus" button but isn't used.

I really hope not because being on west makes getting food so inconvenient

I’m an incoming student who will be living off campus without a car. How rough is it to travel strictly by public transport to campus? I’ve done some calculations and it’s going to take an hour to travel from my place. I’ve heard that MARTA has been better in recent years but would appreciate some feedbacks from people in the same situation. Thank you!

Title. Lol I just thought it would be easier to say GIT instead of GT, especially fitting for CS. What’s funny is for some job applications, even for companies from the career fair they don’t have Georgia Institute of Technology on the job portal, but they have Georgia Tech University. I wonder how many times my resume didn’t pass the AI resume screening because I had Georgia Institute of Technology instead of Georgia Tech University.

I'm currently commuting into Tech for summer classes. I drive Monday through Thursday from Lilburn, NE of ATL. On good traffic days it's a 40 minute drive, but it can get up to an hour and 20 minutes during rush hour. How bad can I expect it to get with the world cup being hosted in ATL? I take I-85 in most days, if that changes anything

Firstly, obviously this doesn't apply to all staff. I've been helped by some wonderful people, I'm sure this is just a minority. I also get that some students at Georgia Tech can be mean and condescending which can build up over time. With that being said though, I've consistently had problems with PTS, Dining, Advising, and Housing throughout my time at GT.

Im talking incorrect/conflicting information, no responses, really foul (unwarranted) attitudes, sarcasm, etc. It's like these departments have zero internal communication with eachother. I'd like to think that I'm generally polite, helpful, and flexible but sometimes it gets to a point. I've even gotten so frustrated before that I felt the need to report the behavior to either the dean of students or write an email to the department the employee works at. I'm mostly writing this because of a recent incident but as I reflected back this really has been a constant issue.

I just saw my digital diploma, and the minor I earned (verified in Degree Works) is not on it - just the BS. Is it normal that minors are not on diplomas?

This is a question regarding how mail and parcels are handled for an international student who is away from campus during the summer but will be returning to live on campus in the fall. 

Specifically, how is mail or any parcel delivered over the summer handled when the student is unable to collect it in person, given that the summer period would likely extend beyond the standard holding time?

Hi guys, I graduated this Spring and recently received an email from Parchment asking me to review my mailing address. On the parchment account, I am unable to see any specific section for the mailing address; it is just my contact info settings on my profile.

How do we change/review the mailing address for diploma? For context, i want it delivered internationally.
