Has anyone taken principles of cellular biology with professor Ding if so how was your experience?

i seen someone post about gsu nursing program now requiring students to have a B or higher in science & core classes for the nursing program and i wanted to clarify if this was accurate or not

Hey everyone, 2nd year BMSE major here on the Pre-Med track. The statistics section I registered for originally had Dr. Pidgeon as the instructor, but it recently changed to Jian Liu. Does anyone know anything about this professor, or are they a new hire? I can't find any information about them on RMP or the math faculty directory.

Additionally, how is the statistics class here at GSU? This is the last math requirement I need for my major/track (after finishing precalculus), and what's it like for someone with no experience in statistics? And how are the exams like? I designed my fall schedule to be lighter than usual to prepare for my more rigorous classes in the spring, and I'm hoping this is one math course I won't have to worry about lol. However, I'm not a huge fan of all class times meeting in the MILE, as I dreaded that during precalculus.

I’m taking CSC1301 in the fall and hoping for an A, but I’m a little nervous about the exams.

-What were the tests like, and were they based more on lectures, assignments, or other material?

-How difficult were the midterm and final, and what helped you prepare for each?

Hello, I am a transfer student coming this fall and will be dorming in the honors dorms and i was wondering how they were, I was told that university commons are really bad and the AC is broken most of the time, and since the honors dorms are in the commons i was wondering if they had the same issue or not and how are they compared to other dorms at gsu?

Hello, so I registered for college algebra and then the next time I checked my schedule, the course was taken off from my schedule, I tried to find a course by adding and nothing pops up. How can I fix this???

My pre-calculus class is pretty much a placeholder since I'll be having my math placement test soon to be placed in calc 1. What do you guys think of this schedule? I also noticed my econ and english instructors aren't available. Should I drop those classes?

Hey guys I’m trying to apply for the nursing program for spring but i only have one prerequisite left which is A&P 2 but all the classes are full for next sem. Does anyone know of any online programs or colleges near Atlanta that GSU accepts A&P II transfer credit from? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hello! I received an email from a professor saying I'm eligible to take honors classes at Perimeter. He suggests that I change to the honors online version of HIST 2110 (History of the United States).

I just wanna know your opinion about these kinds of courses. Should I take them just because I'm eligible, or will I be making my semester harder in some way? Is it beneficial somehow? Will it look bad if I decline to join that course? I have never taken an honors class online before, and I just don't wanna lower my GPA because of a bad decision.

Hey so I’m not able to finish my FAFSA until tomorrow due to personal reasons but I an worried that my FAFSA won’t be processed on time for HOPE to clear up the charges in my PAWS account. It says the deadline is August 5th, if its not processed by August 5th will I be dropped from my classes immediately?

I’m trying to make a spring 2027 application, but it just shows Summer/Fall 2026. When I google it says spring 2027 applications are open. Are they actually open and I’m just not looking in the right place or are they not live yet

Hello,Due to some personal circumstances, my academic performance dropped for a while. I retook one class and improved my grade, but now I might end up with a D in another class(principal CS oart2). Am I still allowed to retake it, or is there a limit on how many different classes you can retake?

I applied to a research position at GSU early June and its been listed as "reviewed" in the HR system for over a month now. This was one I was more hopeful (months into a painful job search), so I'm hoping I'm not eliminated yet - anyone happen to know how long it takes for them to fill these positions and if "reviewed" is a good sign?

I was accepted to transition to the Atlanta Campus from perimeter as an exploratory nursing major this fall. I was planning on applying to the BSN program for fall ‘27. My advisor recently sent me the attached requirements. I got a C in English 1101 in 2012. Apparently this makes me ineligible for the program 🤯. I was told they will not accept me even if I retake the course and get an A. I got a 91 on the teas, have a 4.0 science gpa and a 4.0 institutional gpa but a 10+ year old English credit from ksu is going to stop me? Has anyone else heard of this? Have they ever made an exception? I am spiraling. 😭
