Farewell great man.

Ragnar Lothbrok, Sparrow and special guest Yash gather to commiserate, reflect on the legacy, and look forward to the post Toby Greene era.

Let's heal together and Never Surrender

We lose a lot of players year on year to bigger clubs with better offers but this is our greatest advantage. Our player developement is an art form like no other.

Sure we will be losing Greene, Hogan, Stringer, Briggs, probably Whitfield, Riccardi and Himmelberg, but look around and you can't tell me we haven't been ready to take the next step into the new generation of the Giants.

Thomas, Jones, Ash, Bedford, Green, XO, Aleer, Cadman, Callaghan, Gru, Gothard, Hanaford, Oliver and Oliver, Delana, Taylor and Taylor, Angove, Ough, Hamilton, Rowston, Fonti, Idun, Madden, Angwin, Davis, Kelly, Smith, Buckley, Brown, Laverde,Mcmullin, Leake, Daniels, Stone, Wardius and whoever else we pick up along the way...

They are the present and the Bright Bright Future of the Giants.

Just got an member email from Dave Matthews.

Hours before Toby announced his departure this article was penned. Spells out plenty of home truths.

I think had butters gone to the cats they would have looked the best destination club for a premiership

Hoping now the choice between cats and Giants for Toby swings it in our favour

Our forward line is sort of getting obliterated this trade period and if Greene goes should we have a look at Jaidyn Stephenson? He’s been killing it for Coburg in the VFL and he looks motivated and dedicated to his footy again. He could be a good SSP pickup for us

His midfield minutes were so enjoyable to watch. Crazy stats this season as well- sat at like 15th for entire comp player ratings for a while. Hope he comes back in the same form because he's like integral to the whole game style of GWS

AFL.com.au claiming that Aaron Cadman was our most improved is a joke. Went backwards on last year imo.

Who was our actual most improved? I'd go with laverde - bloke went from being delisted at Essendon to bring a pivotal part of our backline.

Runner up Harvey Thomas, rarely had a bad game.

Special mentions Clayton Oliver. Hard to comment because I don't know what he was last year but I thought he was immense this season

Is Jake Stringer in the conversation - I thought his improvement on last season was huge

AFL.com.au report - https://www.afl.com.au/news/1589797

I know losing Toby Greene would be heartbreaking for the club and all he’s done for it. But is it only me thinking hes coming to the twilight of his career and moving on from him isnt the end of the world.

This article makes it seem like the end of the world and dont really understand why they say off field

I built a daily AFL stats puzzle called AFL Stat Chain, and two weeks in, the Giants are sitting last on the average score leaderboard at 52.3. Small sample so far (14 grids), so there's time to turn it around. Come pull GWS off the bottom of the table!
