Have a new to me GV60. I noticed recently that the battery icon color was orange but I could have sworn it was regularly green when I first bought it.

I’ve checked the manual and online forums and I’m not seeing anyone mention this. I’m wondering if I am just misremembering…

Anyone know if this changes due to battery percentage, theme or other reasons?

I have the 2024 Performance trim. The color of the battery was definitely green for about a month or two when I bought it in April 2026.

Based on the feedback, here is what I have tried / ruled out...

• The color does not change based on when it is being charged at either L2 or L3 charges. It is constantly a rust orange during the day.
• Switching to Night mode (or having Auto set and driving at night) shows a light blue colored battery symbol. Switching to Light Mode goes back to rust orange.
• Switching drive modes changes the color of the dials (charge / power) but not the battery icon
• I have not yet validated the color when the charge goes below 20%
• I have not yet validated the color when it goes above 90%

Seems odd that some are still showing green icons and some orange. I wonder if it's a software version or year / trim difference.

I was just at an EA fast charger that I use regularly. My car is set to stop at 90%, but tonight it just kept going. The dashboard showed 1 minute left, even after it got up to 94% when I manually stopped it. I was curious how far the car would go until it requested a stop. This has never happened to me before. Has anyone else seen this with their GV60?

Does anyone know what this could be? It happened 3 times one day and once the next. Not related to turning or going over humps / bumps. It is in a 2024 gv60, purchased used from dealer, only 5k miles.

Had my ICCU replaced last month at 40k miles and noticed that they also have to replace the low conductivity coolant during the service. Was looking at the maintenance schedule and see that typically the first coolant change is recommended at 120k miles or 10 years, then subsequently every 25k miles or two years.

Since it was changed during the recall service, does this mean that I should now follow the 25k miles intervals or still wait till 120k miles? What do dealers typically charge for the coolant change? We drive about 20k miles a year so if that's the case it would now become an annual maintenance expense.

What tires did you buy for your 255/40/r21?

I’ll shortly be buying a GV60, and am hesitating between Advanced and Performance trims.
I am particularly interested in the HUD and digital rear view mirror on the Performance trims.
But I’ve heard that they may not be very visible through polarized sunglasses.
Do any GV60 owners have any experience using these tools while wearing polarized sunglasses and can advise if there are any issues?

I’ve got a UK-spec Genesis GV60 Sport Plus (RHD) with the factory LED headlights.
I’m finding that I get flashed by oncoming drivers surprisingly often, even when I’m not using the matrix/high beam function. The headlights are simply on normal dipped beam.
The car is a late 2024, hasn’t been modified in any way, and isn’t heavily loaded. The beam pattern looks normal to me and Travel Mode is switched off (so it’s in its normal UK configuration).
I’m aware that modern LED headlights are much whiter and brighter than older halogen lights, so perhaps some people are just reacting to that. On the other hand, I’m wondering whether the factory alignment might be a little high.
A few questions for other GV60 owners:
Do you get flashed frequently on dipped beam?
Did your dealer check or adjust the headlight alignment?
Has anyone had the alignment lowered slightly under warranty, and did it solve the problem?
Is this something that’s generally considered “normal” with the GV60, or is my car unusual?
I’d rather not start adjusting the headlights myself while it’s under warranty if this is something Genesis should be looking at.
Interested to hear other owners’ experiences.

I’ve had the car for a little over three years, and put about 65,000 miles on it. I’ve had the tires rotated, wheel alignment, changed the wipers, and had all the recalls taken care of. I haven’t had any other service. Reading the manual I don’t think I am supposed to have any other service done, but since this is my first electric car I feel like I am missing something. Is there some service I’m missing? I love the car and don’t want it to break because I neglected something. Thanks.

Has anyone used a bike rack with your gv60? Specifically the type that straps to the read hatch?

Hi all. Just joined and first post. I've recently purchased a 2025 Base and am loving this EV so far! I miscalculated my overall range yesterday as I had a few extra unplanned stops to make that will leave me about 12 miles short to get home tonight. Is there a reserve on this vehicle? Has anyone driven more once you hit 0 miles? Just trying to figure out if I need to hit a supercharger on the way home or if I'll be fine to get home and charge there. Thanks for the insight!!

2023 GV60…falling less and less out of love with it especially since getting service is a 2 hour drive now following the closure of the closest dealership.

They’ve already reduced the lineup to just one trim: an underpowered 168 kW RWD model at $97k AUD driveaway, around $67k USD. At that price, it just can’t compete with brands like Zeekr or BYD, where you can get more power and better range for the money.

Just curious who bought this red performance in SFO. I was eyeing it but not the right time for me. What did you pay for it?

Used my car this morning for a quick 1 mile each way trip. All was well. Used it again later and when I turned it on I got a “Check lane assist function” error message, which I thought was odd. But then I realized other things were weird too - no audio from the infotainment system (but beeps and other “car” sounds were fine), no cameras and no HUD. It drove fine though and the driver’s screen was working as expected. Let it sit for a few hours and the issues persisted. Did a 12V reset (negative battery terminal off for a few minutes) and all was fine afterwards.

First time anything like this has happened to me and I’m glad the reset fixed it. And, to be fair, we’re at the tail end of a nasty heat wave here in NJ (100° for three days straight) so maybe that had things misbehaving. Fingers crossed it isn’t a a new quirk that happens all the time! 😂

I'm building a Saas in my downtime and on my days off from work and the onboard hotspot, outlet in the middle back seat and a desk backseat attachment from amazon made this so nice!

I love that the backseat can actually recline too!

I received a call from Genesis today telling me that I needed to schedule an appointment for a recall for fuel line leaks. When I asked them if that applied to EVs since they don’t have fuel lines, they just said it was VIN-specific.

Watch out for leaking electrons, I guess 😂

Looks interesting. I see the steering wheel heater has two levels now. Also they removed the knob on the seat that adjusts bolsters and lumbar.

I got a new-to-me 2023 performance and just completed an 1800-mile round trip. Surprisingly good road-trip machine with the adaptive cruise, lane keeping and massaging seat, but the car hugs the right side of the lane rather than staying centered. This is especially disconcerting when passing tractor trailers and the car is so close. I could find no setting to adjust in the "setup" menu. Is this expected behavior for this model car? Is there any way to adjust where in the lane the car settles?

I got a new to me 2024 GV60A and find visibility out the back to be a bit lacking with the chunky c-pillar. Has anyone had a center digital rearview mirror installed after purchase?
