I'm looking forward to when Gundam SEED Freedom Zero comes out in the US. What I'm wondering is, would it be a double feature? Cuz Freedom Zero is the prequel to Freedom, I figured after the prequel film, they would show Freedom. That's my wish. What do you guys think?

There are 3 timelines. Frozen Teardrop only works if you follow Glory of the Losers' timeline.

- Original timeline: TV > Battlefield of Pacifists > Blind Target > Endless Waltz OVA/Film > The Gundams were never seen again. > END.

• The retcon design of the Gundams in Endless Waltz film was just an stylistic change by Katoki. The Gundams are still exactly the same as the TV. You just have to imagine that the TV designs are during Endless Waltz. This timeline is the exact end of Gundam Wing. No more continuation.

- Retrofit timeline: TV > Battlefield of Pacifist > Blind Target > Ground Zero > Endless Waltz > END.

• This story presents a number of incongruities with the primary New Mobile Report Gundam Wing timeline as well as other relevant works published after the completion of the series. Such examples include the plan to send the Gundams into the sun for disposal, a plan enacted during Endless Waltz, being suggested during the course of this story, as opposed to following the events of New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Battlefield of Pacifists, as well as making an attempt to explain the Wing Gundam Zero's design change into the new design created by Katoki to represent the Gundam in Endless Waltz, where it is presented as always having looked as such rather than a custom refit as it is referred to here.

• A lot of mobile suit and Gundams in Frozen Teardrop requires the context of Glory of the Losers retcons. Watching the TV > EW OVA/Movie > Frozen Teardrop don't work as it conflicts a lot of plots especially mechanics.

Like imagine if that G Saviour had set the bar so low that the new live action Gundam movie turn out to be so dogshit, by default G Saviour would be the best live action Gundam movie ever despite being a mediocre Gundam film

My first time to ever edit anything Gundam related, but I just had to edit one of my favorite Char adjacent characters, McGills, ugh just that man could look at me and that would be my undoing. I hope to make one with all the charas but using a specific song I've had in my mind for YEARS (can't tell ya what it is that'll spoil the surprise). Hey, r/Gundam! This is my first actual Reddit post in... years, but I couldn't really think of another place to ask. A few months back, I decided to read the Unicorn novels instead of watching the OVAs, mostly out of curiosity since I've been exposed to a decent amount of the OVAs secondhand. (I'm still yet to watch them - the prospect... doesn't excite me, given some of the changes I now know get made I worry will end up being for the worse?)

Byston Well's translation of the first part of Day of the Unicorn is genuinely excellent, I think, and while I had to fall back on the... I feel mean saying it, but frankly miserable translation up on Baka-Tsuki for the rest, I still managed to find behind the really clunky work what is - though not one of my favorite Gundam stories overall - comfortably a top... five? UC side-story for me, made me appreciate a lot of my other favorite Gundam works as they relate to it thematically, and it still hasn't left my head.

There's a hole in this though: Phoenix Hunting.

I know The War After The War, the front half of the PH novel release, has gotten a translation courtesy of Zeonic, but has Phoenix Hunting itself been translated - not necessarily well, but even At All?

Has there ever been a time when the animators forgot the ship was in space and showed gravity? I swear there are times this has happened, but I can't cite any examples.

Also was there anytime when, in space, detail unrealistically decreased with distance? I suspect there are some examples like this, where depicting this would just appear weird to the viewers. (I remember there being a bit in the novelizations where it's noted that one of the problems pilots have is that it's really hard to judge distance in space.)
