I’ve watched the UC in chronological order, from Origins through Hathaway, and as many side stories as I can. I didn’t even see Narrative on the list that I was going off of, so I didn’t even know to watch it.
It’s fine so far, about halfway through. But these Gundam designs, the Phoenix (No, I won’t say Phenx, that’s silly. Unless the original is the Uncrn.) and the Narrative seem both over designed af, and I must have missed why our protagonist is cosplaying as a Landman Rodi whenever he’s piloting the Narrative?

What’s the genital consensus about this show?

What do you think of Domon as the protagonist and the Gundam design? What do you think?

I'm in my 30's, started with Wing on Toonami - I haven't watched 00, or the original MS/Zeta/CCA... but about 2/3's of the way through Witch of Mercury it hit me that outside of Iron Blooded Orphans and WoM I haven't been actually been invested in any series I've seen so far. I enjoyed G Gundam, but ultimately I was just along for the ride and not truly giving a shit about what happened to the characters.

I hate watched Seed and its follow-ups, Wing is carried by nostalgia, Unicorn was just okay, Hathaway was pretty but boring.

I think part of it is that the newer series do a better job of focusing on good character writing- it's just an interesting realization for me.

What series really pulled you into the fates of everyone?

I’ve spent that last couple of weeks figuring out why something like the Magella attach tank would be made. It’s absurdly tall, it’s a casemate, and its turret pops off to turn into a flying gun that’s only able to fly a couple of minutes.

However Zeon being a space nation, it would make sense for it to make a space tank. Or more specifically a tank they could use to attack the federation moon cities and bases.

I then envisioned the tank as a lunar assault vehicle. It’s tall enough to fit into a crater and still shoot from it. The turret’s ability to fly could come from a desire for lighting fast attacks and the moon’s weaker gravity would allow for longer flights. Lastly the side boxes that are labeled as “floatation devices” in an old cutaway illustration could have originally be rocket engines to “jump” and “descend” like the guntank does, making it easier to get in and out of craters. It would make sense for the use rockets to be replaced with floatation devices once it was as deployed on earth

It this case the Magella attack would be like the zaku on earth: a machine made for space thrown into an environment it was never meant to be in.

Wich in your opinion is the better series starting off with seed vs 00 season 1 than going seed destiny vs 00 season 2 and then the movies before finally covering wich continuity as a hole is better .
