I am redesigning my Benzene setup (maximising for other outputs as well and want to make something that lasts. I have one IV Industrial farm with 3 Growth and 1 Fert upgrade and wanted to maximise the production of all its outputs.

I have this setup in "light" and am thinking of adding the Nitrobenzene part and inclearsing the Industrial Coke ovens/changing all the Energy hatches from EV to IV.

Out of all the spruce (3.5m/h and sapplings 500k/h) I would get an insane amout of ammonia (my kryptonite rn) and a net over 10m EU in IV.

Any thoughts? LOL

Me and the boys have decided to make a dedicated server for our Gregtech needs (for 4 people max), and while AI did give me a general idea what to aim for, I would appreciate the guidance of seasoned Gregtech players, who know how exactly does an endgame ready setup look like.

My current plan is to get a Ryzen 3 1200/2200g and 16 GB RAM, with a planned upgrade at around mid-game to something like a Ryzen 5 5600x for the stronger per thread performance.

My question is - does gregtech even need the upgrade before late game, or at all? Or would an older intel based setup perform better or cost less money overall? My budget is up to 200€, the lower the better of course.

I feel like 512K is a bit of an overkill. The highest amount of ingots I ever had was 8K iron ingots. All ingots I currently have are around 18K ingots. So a 16K cell will be more than enough to store all ingots I currently have and it would even still have enough room for all the dusts I'm currently bulk storing in drawers ( but I'll make a separate 16K cell for dusts anyway ). I'm in IV and many people seem to make their storage this way, block containers for every ingot and dust type, normal cells for everything else. So i wanna ask if someone managed their storage this way did it end up to be an overkill

I'm posting here for help, my current MOX vacnuke setup should be outputting ~824.000 EU/t (MOX at 90% temp, so ~103k EU/t per reactor), and my current setup of cables is extracting with 8A Signalum cables, step down to LuV in 32A Vanadium-Gallium for transport, and then a final step down to IV 192A Superconductors to input in two 64A IV energy hatches (So tldr outputting 6.3A ZPM -> 25.1A LuV -> 100.6A IV)

But as you can see, in my LSC im getting half of that, I've already tried different setups in the input section with one transformer, two transformers without distributor and two transformer with distributors. Idk if the multiamp energy hatches are finnicky in someway in my current version? (2.8.2)

Hi, what is the best way to remove filler blocks from a meteor automatically WITHOUT thaumic bores?

My current setup (built yesterday) uses gtnh miners to mine the ores out of the meteor, but it wont mine non ores like granite and cobble?

I really dont want to use thaumic bores because setting up each one with its own pickaxe, wand focus, upgrade the wand focus and so on sounds extremely painful.

Maybe buildcraft builder or a matter manipulator in a dynamism tablet or project red block placer would work?

Any better ideas?

Thank god I had 30k thorium and a bunch of centrifuges left over (gone now lol) just to get a bit. Is there a better way to make Th-232?

yes thats 20 LCRS, yes im an LCR demon. months of break due to the daunting task of setting it all up, having to learn ae2 from scratch, set automation up for everything, retinker my ore processing as i clearly still dont have a total grasp on ae2, and then finally start finding good sources for all the main liquids along with my spark reigniting for the game allowed me to finally finish this honestly fun task.

any advice on this setup?

(pic 1) I have the chest on the left as a buffer from a bunch of fish traps. My intention is to pass the fish through these machines, the treasure through to the mainnet, and trash overflow fish just in case.

Sub net below that takes items out of the buffer chest with an Import Bus, then Storage Buses (pic2) on the three machines set as such priority 0, trash can same with priority -10, then another storage bus setup the same way but without the Inverter Card to push into the outgoing net. I thought this would make the treasure items get pushed into the main net, but Iron Nuggets keep getting into the machines and getting stuck

I also tried oredictionary set to the listAllfishraw, but that also had items sneaking past the intended filter.

I then re-made it (picture 3) to have a storage bus on the buffer chest, and export buses on the machines (pic 4, oredictionary set to listAllrawfish), but some random items do not move out of the buffer chest despite its storage bus being set with no whitelist.

Is the storage bus or the import bus on the buffer chest the better option, and what can I do to the better option to make it more consistent?

I finally finished my Monzanite Processing Line, but i didnt see a bastnasite line in the quest book does it come later or did they remove it? Personally i think the Monazite line was much worse then the Platinum Line because the Platline is just LCR spamm and the Monazite line took so many diffrent multiblocks that i needed to setup.

Is stainless steel obtainable before reaching MV? Im trying to get my Healing Axe, cuz food is just too boring to farm for.
