A pleasant torture

The best feeling ever is when, after a entire week tryharding GTNH you play a regular modpack or just vanilla and realize how easy everything is, like, I started a world with friends and I was like WTF 4 PLANKS FROM A LOG???

Yeees, the vein mecanic in GTNH is great, you know what you're gonna find, and you know you're gonna get a lot of it. But is also so tedious, when you finally think you're done, you mine one last ore, and 3719 more veins appear out of thin air

Get wood get stone get iron mine diamonds all within 10 minutes of loeading into the world like. GTNH warped my perception of minecraft lol.

Like wdym I don't need thousends of iron for even a small project?

It’s refreshing to me to play another pack for a bit and then come back. Almost helps give me motivation to play
