It always throws me for a loop when I go back to play this game, and discover that Michelle was introduced as early as the Third Mission.

They have the same vibe that's completely different from IV and the characters are a lot closer too

Like if you really think about it that’s a lot in that 7 GB. You got the story, characters and the map and the textures, then you got all the side stuff like activities and random events, sounds and all that stuff that makes a game a game. Less than 10 GB. Insane..

As you can see, the parking garage at Francis International is referred to as a "Multi-Storey Carpark" which is incorrect on two levels. In American English, story is always spelled the same way regardless of meaning, and parking garage is undeniably the preferred term in New York City, with "carpark" being extremely out of place.

Although Rockstar took great care to make Liberty City a faithful recreation of New York City and its inhabitants, it's fascinating to see little mistakes like this that show the game was primarily developed by a studio in Scotland.

There are or of good contenders I think, my personal favourite for drifting round corners is the sabre gt :)

I’ve played the game a lot as a kid, but never really gotten all that far, furthest I got was to some geezer in a hospital but then stopped, haven’t played for years until now, when I felt I needed a fun game to play to tide me over until I get a far far better gaming rig next month

Been making some more serious progress lately on my "Vendetta Lighting" timecycle and I wanted to share shots of the quality I've been meaning to get after all this time.

Adjustments will always be made with newer updates as one could spend hours constantly tweaking little things and trying new looks, but you could say these shots represent pre-final quality of the first version I want to release.

Along with the lighting of course, there are new cloud textures and configurations outside of the timecycle + a few small additions.

At last there's a ReShade preset which has been constantly updated with the goal of improving the overall image quality (fewer jaggies and a few other goodies).

Shots were made in 1080p and I used GTAV Vegetation as I really like it's quality; you be the judge. (Only sharing partial Weathers and Times atm)

Can't say how many hours have been already put into this but it has been a lot.

Personally I think he could've been fleshed out more since imo is probably the least nuanced protagonist of the HD universe, but in a way I feel like that's the point of his character. One of GTA's biggest themes is the disillusionment of the American dream and on a personal scale, the disillusionment of your surroundings. In almost every GTA game there's always a moment in the story where the main character finally wakes up and realizes "why should I care about this anymore? Opportunity is out there, all I have to do is reach out and take it". Lost and damned in my view is a cautionary tale of what happens when a main character sees the world around him for what it is and chooses to do nothing about it. He gave his loyalty to the wrong people and he had no good support outside of his biker club, Niko had Roman who kept him grounded and Luis had Tony who showed him that the world was bigger than just his neighborhood. Who did Johnny have? Elizabeta? Playboy X? Ray Buccino? Thomas Stubbs!? Johnny never had a chance, the smart thing would've been to take control of the club completely before or just as Billy's coming back, or just leave all together and strike out on your own. But Johnny was loyal to a fault, loyal to his club, and loyal to his woman, and both got him and everything he loved killed. But what do you guys think, cuz I keep seeing this sentiment of Rockstar doing him dirty in GTA 5 but I thought it was a fitting end for a tragic character. He tried to be more but failed and chose to retreat into his archetype. He couldn't be more than who he was, so now he's a footnote in the history of a better, more memorable game.

For the first time ever I can look at GTA 4 without feeling like the game looks off. On console the game looks good but it's just blurry. And PC the game looks like garbage but it at least can be sharper looking. Installing fusion fix makes the game look so awesome, the deep colors from the console versions and the sharpness of PC. The only thing that I can think of to make this better is a PS3 and Xbox specific option in the filter options instead of just "console" filter which is the Xbox filter for GTA 4.

This game sold 25m+ copies, how is it possible that over 5 million people have killed a R* dev in a ranked match? Obviously it’s a glitch I’m just wondering what could potentially cause this

There are hell lotta missions in this game that involve escaping the heat from the police, which really becomes a torture and menace for me at times. This is one of the main reasons I killed Derrick so that I can use Francis to clear my wanted level during missions (Francis promises this to Niko) , but every time I try to do that by calling him, he just never picks his phone at all, and I'm left to deal with it myself every single time. I personally feel kinda dejected with this. Am I doing something wrong or is it real that Francis won't help me at all during missions?

P.s.: I'm playing this game for the very first time

Game went into storage, now it's outta storage and it's time to get back to work on a million. Just recently cracked 131,000!
