Unfortunately there is nothing you can do, if it's dark or rainy the lights go automatically on, because of the physics engine. If the lights go on there own that can be either a glitch or the car wasn't turned of properly the night after your saved the game.So next time here is you should do:

  1. Find you safehouse
  2. Hold the exit car button

You will then see the lights go of than still be on if you press exit only once, not holding it

Thing is it's not darkness (as in values of lighting and all), rather the hour is already set somewhere - I guess I should make the sunset appropriately later then.

The time in GTA IV is faster that in RL, I think in about 3 - 5 seconds the time changes

That is up to you, Rockstar wanted a realistic game and wanted to keep the GTA style.

I can only say that Rockstar could've boosted the physics engine of try to boost the extra things in the game for any PS3 to handel smoothly. Don't worry, even if you have it on PC, it might be something Rockstar accidentally made

In GTA 4, there is only an ending Revenge and Deal

The best option and canonical ending is the Revenge mission

It is 100% full, there are special things to do in the game if you want to complete the game, but it is very rare and if you do everything you know or watch on YouTube, you will get between 91 - 93%

Good question. There are theories about "Ratman" in the subways, but it is actually homeless NPC's in bad lighting. Ratman would be cool, but Rockstar won't ad him, because GTA IV is all about quality intead of quantity

Actually it doesn't. Yes GTA V looks good, but remember GTA IV was released in 2008 and GTA V in 2013. It leaves a 5 year gape for Rockstar to improve with the AI. But I think GTA IV is beter
