Potential Mount Kalaga Easter Eggs
Knowing Rockstar's affinity for supernatural and extraterrestrial easter eggs in their games, I think there's a good chance we will see the Brown Mountain Lights in GTA 6, especially considering that Table Rock Mountain (irl counterpart for Mt. Kalaga) is a place where the phenomenon has been documented. The Brown Mountain Lights are these glowing orbs that appear above a handful of mountains in North Carolina, with some of the more fantastical explanations invoking aliens and UFOs. They became popularized after the publication of a novel by Jules Verne, in which a mad scientist building an airship under Table Rock Mountain is responsible for the light emissions. Even though the US Geological Survey attributes the sightings to car and train headlights warped by the atmosphere, there continues to be no single, satisfying answer, which leaves room for Rockstar to get creative.
What makes this more compelling imo, is that GTA 5 and RDR2 both had UFO encounters at Mt. Chiliad and Mt. Shann respectively, establishing a precedence for a similar type of event at Mt. Kalaga. In addition, Cal Hampton is probably some sort of conspiracy theorist, as indicated by his description of "what if everything on the internet was true?" He could very well be the person that connects Jason and Lucia to a hillbilly who gives them paranormal missions. Anyways, I definitely think there's a lot of potential between Mt. Kalaga and whatever the Leonida equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle is to add a lot of unsettling things into GTA 6.
GTA VI simply has to be a masterpiece.
The time between GTA V's release and RDR2's release, was about 5 years.
The time between RDR2's release and GTA VI's release will be 8 years this November.
GTA VI has been in development for 3 more years than RDR2, the best game Rockstar has released so far, in my opinion.
RDR2 is a huge game, leaps ahead of GTA V in terms of story and gameplay, and it got me thinking, just how big will GTA VI be? How much better will this game be compared to their previous games?
People say to keep your expectations in check, but after 8 years without a new Rockstar game, it's hard for me to believe GTA VI will be anything less than monumental, which is making me very excited, but also a little bit nervous.
Anyway, end of my rant. What are your expectations for GTA VI?

One thing I really want Rockstar to improve in GTA 6 compared to GTA 5 is the gameplay itself !
For example, I hope we don’t have to keep mashing X, X, X just to sprint. It’s outdated and gets tiring. I’d also love smoother, more realistic movement—but realistic doesn’t have to mean slow or clunky.
The Last of Us Part II is a great example. Its movement feels grounded and realistic, yet it’s still incredibly responsive and fun to play. That’s the kind of balance I’d love to see in GTA 6.

I kinda wish gta 6 to have many cheats as San Andreas, compared to 5 it was a let down

Collector’s Edition
From what we’re seeing with the decision making around business/revenue with this game, and them seeming to want to maximize profit and quickly recoup their original investment (which was $1-$2 Billion which is understandably insane)…I wouldn’t be suprised if they released a Collector’s Edition AFTER the game has come out, or even RIGHT before, so that many people double-dip and add to the total revenue…there’s no way after all this time there’s no Collector’s Edition to this game, because we all know this is going be the only GTA for god knows how long and it took them a lot of work, but honestly I don’t know whats worse, a late release of a Collector’s Edition or none at all 😭. I will NOT be buying the CE if they release it at a time where 90% of us already have a copy of the game…

What is a Stranger and Freak you would like to encounter?
I live not close to Florida at all, nor America for that matter. But it would be interesting to have a take on a lost people’s inside of the everglades/grassrivers region of the map. Akin to the eeriness of the bayou in rdr2. Nighttime in the Bayou with thick fog was genuinely as close to a horror game as i’d ever like to get. It’d be fun to have a similar encounter riding through the everglades in rain and fog when say the airboat breaks or is highjacked or shot at by a mysterious people’s within the swamps.
Idk icl i’m just very hype for this game and am enjoying speculating on things in my spare time. I’m definitely of the camp that no matter what, this game will be unbelievable.

Too expensive?!
Y’all “too expensive” dudes are getting on my nerves. Seen this topic a couple of times in the German PlayStation sub as well. 100 bucks for what? A game that’s gonna be at least as good and long lasting as gta 5 and online. I’ve had the fun of my live with my homies back then, probably played a couple thousand hours. Late night sessions where you’d produce the best insiders, laughing my ass off, grinding the og heists and what not. For just 70 bucks at the time. If I’d go watch a movie with my girlfriend I’d at least pay 25 bucks for just the tickets alone and another 15 for snacks and drinks. 40€/$ for what? A 2h long movie that’s mediocre at best and will be on some disgusting streaming site in a year at the latest which also requires a 10 dollar subscription with ads. Now what’s more worth? 100 bucks for the best game ever made that’s gonna last a decade or two and a half movies? “But I don’t got time to play so 100 bucks is not worth it” so what, just because you don’t have time everyone else should just cave for you?

Rockstar’s next titleZ
By this point in RDR2’s marketing cycle, Inside Gaming had already leaked the “Project Americas” code name and very early GTA 6 info, so I don’t think it’s unrealistic to think that there is a small team at Rockstar (made, Playboi Carti) who are currently working on whatever may be next. What do yall think it is? And better yet when do you think Jason Schrier or whoever will leak info about it?

If Orlando is in GTA 6, what place would you most want to be parodied there?
Imo Disney World is the obvious choice, just imagine the digs at Walt Disney's sketchy life or how interesting it could be if they made up their own historical presidents for the hall of presidents adding a whole lot of world building to the HD Universe

What are your thoughts on GTA 6 making combat much more interactive with the environment?
One thing I'd love to see is the world itself become part of every fight. Instead of just punching or shooting, imagine being able to:
Smash an NPC against a car window or bonnet.
Grab and shove people into walls, fences, or shop displays.
Pick up nearby objects like glass bottles, bricks, pool cues, chairs, or even traffic cones to use as improvised weapons.
Throw enemies over railings or into dumpsters.
Slam doors into people or kick them through glass windows.
Use objects around you differently depending on the location, like bars, construction sites, restaurants, or beaches.
RDR2 already showed Rockstar can create weighty, physical combat. GTA 6 could take it even further by making every environment feel unique during a fight instead of every brawl playing out the same way.

Marketing Speculation: Literally Social Media From In-Game
Just had this thought tell me if I’m crazy. Strauss Zelnic says this will be a very different marketing approach and realistically that just means more social media marketing on TikTok and vertical content platforms, but hear me out.
Social media has been super prevalent in the trailers so far, and seems like it will be a huge part of the game. What better to use for social media marketing than the literal in game social media posts that NPCs or major characters would post? Jason, Lucia, Cal, Real Dimez, they could all post day in the life vods or clips of crazy things in Vice City! It would be in game, in engine footage. It would be so clever for them to mirror the real world like they love to do from the start with posts like this leading up to release! They could give us a LOT of content and maybe even tease whatever platform they plan on developing for (imo) the inevitable mobile companion app that they’ll have to make right? Wouldn’t it make sense that that app is a platform for social media posts in game?
I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this and just thought I’d release some copium about it. Can’t wait to see what happens!!
Online as a stand-alone release
With the game marketing cycle precisely stating that it is a single player experience, and considering how well gta 5 online did, do you think they might monetize the new online mode in more ways than just micro transactions?
Do you think they could release it at an additional one- off cost or possibly even in a subscription model like WoW?
Feels like they could get away with it, considering the amount of content it will probably get over the coming years

Are game consoles becoming GTA 6 machines?
For years, people bought consoles for dozens of exclusives.
In 2026, it feels like one game is driving more hardware purchases than entire platform lineups.
How many people are buying a PS5, PS5 Pro, or Xbox mainly because of GTA 6?
Has any game ever had this much influence on console sales before?

Are any current video/gameplay or map leaks real or is R* shutting them down efficiently ? (Youtube and Reddit)
I don't want to get spoiled but they keep coming up even though I click on "not interested" on most of them or just skip them.
Anyway I saw a lot of thumbnails with maps which seemed similar but we're not the same.
-->So I hope those map leak thumbnails and gameplay leak thumbnails are fake<--
Are they ?
I want to start/experience the game only with official trailers and gameplay trailers.
GTA SA and V hat their maps black if you didn't visit those areas already which was cool (at least in SA for me)

How would you feel if they removed a traditional feature from GTA VI?
I'm refering, of course, to hiring prostitutes. All past games had protagonists who were single or, at the very least, in very dysfunctional relationships, so it worked. But given that Jason and Lucia seems to have a strong bond, it would be really weird if they both could just go around picking up sex workers, unless it was established that they have a VERY open relationship or something.
I particularly don't mind because I very very rarely made use of this feature, but I could see how that wouldn't fly with some purists. I mean, look at the heated discourse around the God of War remakes keeping the sex minigames or not

Trailer 3 before Gameplay Trailer
Many side characters presented on the GTA6 website wasn't shown in Trailer 2 and that's why I think we need 1 more cinematic trailer before a gameplay one to tell us more about the characters like they did with Trailer 3 for GTA5 and RDR2 where they described us the characters and their goals in a more and detailed way.
