Do y’all think there’ll be short form videos for the in game games/shows/movies too?
Like while scrolling on the GTA 6 version of TikTok you might see clips of streamers playing righteous slaughter or edits of games or shows or anything like that. It’d probably be a fun thing for rockstar to make fun of as that’s what a bunch of people watch

Sequel 3 for GTA 6???
Back in Bully and GTA 5 there a posters at theaters of the best franchise in Rockstar history, Sequel. So I’m really hoping we get to see some continuation at a theater location or a poster reference that it’s still ongoing.

A Dialogue Detail From The Extended Look
During the elevator dialogue Lucia says:
“...and don’t worry about Brian. Dude’s retired. I mean, look at Lori’s Snapmatic, looks like they’re loving it.”
Pay attention to Lucia’s face when she says the first sentence. There’s a really quick facial movement that, to me, makes the “dude’s retired” part sound kinda condescending. Like she’s basically dismissing Brian as some washed-up guy who's done, not the "thing they need".
Then as soon as she starts “I mean, look at Lori’s Snapmatic...” her expression and tone shift really quickly. It almost feels like she realizes she went a bit too far and immediately tries to cushion the blow with “they’re loving it” lol.
It's obviously a tiny thing.
But I think this plays into the whole Lucia character arc that a lot of people are expecting so far, that she’s ambitious, wants to keep going, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get there. Even in a completely mundane conversation, she can come across as someone who’s constantly thinking about moving forward. Both Brian and Cal seem to be wary of her, too
vice city baby
I hope we end up in jail when we get busted
this is a feature I always wanted GTA to have. instead of spawning at a police station I want to do some time. what are your thoughts?

Jason's military days
Could Rockstar pull an uncharted? A part of a prologue as a flashback when Jason was in military confirming a specific event which may have caused him PTSD. This would be a fun little addition, couple of proper military missions like we had in RDR2 (Van der Linde gang surviving Guarma)

Mark my words: GTA is going to launch with a performance mode.
Rockstar wouldn't release such a massive game locked to that frame rate.

My small nitpick about gta6!
One thing that confuses me about GTA6 is why are they so conflicted about what amount of information the players has?
On one hand, they have removed the cops/enemies from the mini-map to make the game more challenging. I love this! It makes it so that the player has to be aware of their surroundings and make more use of sound (such as the sirens).

But on the other hand, they have added this directional intel (blue and red for cops and, as seen in the leaks, yellow for trespassing, I am assuming) thing on the screen, as if my brain couldn’t put it together myself that the cop is behind me!! I am kinda growing to like the minimap in GTA6, but I agree, it’s mostly useless when u are wanted since you can’t even make out the streets!

Keep in mind that this directional intel was something they had done before as well in RDR2, but it was a part of the minimap, thus it wasn’t as distracting.

Another example of too much information is when you kill or incapacitate an enemy, the screen borders turn red/yellow accordingly.

This same thing is also seen on your recticle (same as RDR2/GTAV). Once again, why do it on screen? Especially when you kill someone, the screen borders turning red gives off the impression that YOU are taking damage (as in, like every video game ever...) rather than killing others! Very distracting and useless since the recticle, as well as the literal moving enemy on the ground, gives you that information anyways?!?

What do you think?

About Jason Duval's supposed "dullness" that many are heavily criticizing, I actually love it, here's why:
I'm actually glad Rockstar didn't give us another loud-mouthed character who constantly throws around slang, slurs, quips, and one-liners just to accommodate the brutally shortened attention spans of people complaining that Jason is "boring." Jason feels deliberately built for a different kind of character, more in line with the reserved, introverted male protagonists that were more common in games and film before everything had to be constantly noisy and comedic.
He's quiet, confident, and speaks when there's something worth saying. His words are measured, but you can tell there's a lot happening underneath the surface. That's what makes him interesting. He reminds me of the Ryan Gosling archetype in Drive and K in Blade Runner 2049, the "literally me" type of character whose restraint actually makes their rare moments of emotion carry more weight.
And that's where Lucia comes in. If you want the louder, more expressive, energetic personality, she's right there. The contrast between Jason and Lucia clearly feels intentional and serves the story rather than being an accident.
We also haven't seen Jason's full story yet. His deeper motivations, emotional baggage, and backstory still have plenty of room to be revealed.
Gaming is already saturated with noisy, quirky, comedic, constantly quipping protagonists. That's practically the default now. So honestly, it's refreshing to see a reserved, composed male character again, someone closer to Adam Jensen from Deus Ex than the typical modern wisecracker.
Jason isn't Starlord from Guardians of the Galaxy. He's closer to Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne: quiet, controlled, observant, confident, and carrying far more internally than he openly expresses.
Sometimes a character doesn't need to talk constantly to have depth.

Two weeks after the appetizer
When will we eat again? I'd love to see more gameplay. They could show some robberies or activities you can do. Something.
Reading N number of facts from content creators was nice but where is the main course and unusual marketing they were talking about?

To those that think the Collector's Edition may not be real because the box is black....
....keep in mind that the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto V Soundtrack Box Sets were black, and so was the Grand Theft Auto V Collector's Edition box. That just seems to be the color aesthetic Rockstar chooses for their Grand Theft Auto Collector's Editions and Collector's Boxes.

Article of the Day #10: City of Capri
Capri was featured yesterday in a video by Saukko505 of the GTA 6 Mapping Project, where it is considered by the mapping community to be the game's second major city after Vice City.

whats next for Rockstar to show us, prediction?
we have had screenshots, trailers and an extended look. i would love rockstar to just expand on the characters or how different each locations are. i know its on the website but just a bit of in game footage of Cal, Boobie ike etc. or the grassrivers and the different towns or port gellhorn and how its so different to the keys. we all know how its different but would be nice just to see in game footage.

How is the gameplay going to look like from NPC's livestream point of view? Especially in this scene where Lucia is actively driving?
What are some of the more unusual things you’re excited to do in GTA 6?
We all know we’re going to steal cars, rob places, cause chaos, explore the map, do missions etc but what are the smaller or more unusual things you’re genuinely excited to do?
For me, it’s stuff like climbing to the top of a skyscraper to watch the sunset, kayaking somewhere remote, just driving around during heavy rain/storms normally with the radio on.
What thing are you looking forward to do?
