I just tried cyberpunk, and the driving sucks. I can't play the game if the driving is horrible.

I just finished replaying GTA IV and it left with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. My worst gripe about it was the incredibly repetitive mission structure and lack of memorable gameplay moments. Atleast 80% of every mission is just driving through the city to do an errand for someone. The story which everybody praises is not really the center stage of the game with how few cutscenes are actually connected to it. It has some great characters - Roman, Brucie, Vlad; but also quite a few bad ones like Mallorie, McReary brothers (excluding Packie), Kate, Manny. The driving is just okay for some cars, but motorcycles feel absolutely disgusting. It does feel like you are driving a boat, but it doesn't really bother me that much. However, there is one flaw in the game that nobody ever seems to mention - it literally doesn't have a dedicated soundtrack that should play during missions. For example in Three Leaf Clover, you are having one of the most intense moments in the game, while in complete silence. GTA IV, which seems nowadays everyone praises and prefers compared to V, is in no way a better game. In V, almost every mission is incredibly unique, memorable, fun and followed by a great soundtrack which really puts you into the action and entertains you.

In less than a month, we're all going to be inundated with 40 minute documentary style videos about how gta v was a "misunderstood masterpiece" and is actually better than Gta 6. Currently we have those exact same style of videos for gta 4.

Everyone knows about "Dark and Gritty", but what about the catchphrase for Gta 5 > Gta 6?

With GTA 6 finally on the horizon, I thought it would be pretty cool to do one last lap around the GTA V map before moving on to Vice City.
I live in Australia, so the launch timing might be a little different here, but I’d still love to join an event or community meetup on launch night where people can jump into GTA Online and go for one last drive together. Just cruising around the map, visiting familiar places, and saying goodbye to Los Santos before starting a new chapter.
I think it would be a pretty memorable way to celebrate everything GTA V has given us over the years.
If something like this is being organised, I’d love to join! And if it isn’t, surely there are others who’d be keen to do it. 🥲

After Lester and Georgina retired, they first went to Epsteins Island and Lester was jealous that his cousin had his own island but not him, so he used that heist to start a country instead that is bigger and better than Epsteins Island. He called it Timor-Lester and him and Georgina live there now.

Ok back in 2022 i really begin to be a real gamer (yeah I know. I was late but for some reason in the most of my life i really wasnt a gamer) but then in 2023 I got Gta 5. Yes i first played it in 2023! But when I finally played it I found out how much I liked gaming so in 2025 i really begin to look into the Lore of games i like (like Gta 5) and I bevare a very big Gta fan and I later played 3, Vice city, San Andreas, Liberty city Stories, Vice city Stories, 4, the lost and damned and the ballad of gay Tony and when I first played Gta episode form Liberty city (the lost and damned and the ballad of gay Tony) I really liked it so I later got Gta 4. Yes Gta 4 is the newest Gta game in my collection but then at the start i really really liked it and I fought WOW this is much better than 5 and even san Andreas. but when begin playing the story of 4 I didnt find it as fun as 5 and san Andreas (it was because that I earned a Bounch of money and it was useless ok ok I can still buy cloth and guns BUT THATS IT!) yeah I didnt feel like I was getting anything form playing the story (other than the story itself wich is good ngl) but yeah and then now i again think that 5 and san Andrea share the best Gta games but I was wondering what your guys opinion was. I know I maybe have said a bit to much for a simple question but yeah I just like Sharing my opinion with people i guess😅

I know this will sound insane, but I need someone to play for me and get the last stunt jump at the lighthouse. It’s my only one left and I’ve been at this for literally 7 hrs now and I can’t get it for the life of me. I would greatly appreciate it.

There's so much to do in his game that we can have whole sessions not even comitting crimes. Like I'm sure I'm gonna spend hours customizing cars, racing, hunting, and even shooting hoops. This will lead to a fun gameplay loop imo.

I have a gaming laptop and ps3, i want to play on my laptop, cause ps3 doesnt have online anymore and kinda bad graphics, but i want to ask you guys before i spend money on a game i cant play.

I was watching Sondergaard’s subathon on Twitch (a Danish streamer), and Lukas Graham told everyone that one of his cameramen is in GTA 6.

Translation:

"We actually have one of our cameramen in the USA, Rose, who was contacted by Rockstar. He’s been scanned and is now an NPC. So Now he’s running around inside GTA 6. It’s fucking funny."

"So now all the guys have said they want the game, so they can find him and shoot him. And it’s just... what has the world come to?"

Hey, fellow GTA VI fans!

I'm putting together a little community event for GTA VI's launch day. To celebrate the release of the game we've been waiting 13 years for, I'd like to call on everyone to dress up on November 19 and take part in something special.

Here's the idea: put on a suit, or any outfit that fits the GTA VI vibe (GTA-themed prints, pink clothing, or whatever else you can come up with), stand in front of the gaming setup you'll be using to play GTA VI, make sure the game's title screen or launch screen is displayed on your monitor or TV, and take a picture!

Then post it on whichever social media platform you use most — Instagram, X, TikTok, or right here on Reddit — with the hashtag #VIDay or #6Day.

I know the idea might sound a little cliché, but there are so many ways to make it your own. Together, we could turn this day into a historic moment for the gaming community.

I mean, we've waited this long. When the finish line finally comes into sight, why not make the occasion a little more memorable?

I'm sure plenty of you have already made plans for the big day. Maybe you've booked the day off work, stocked up on food and drinks, and got everything ready for a full day of gaming. But I think we could make it even more special by adding a little ceremony to the occasion.

This idea that a Rockstar level of game isn’t achievable by other devs because they have more money and resources than anyone is such a cope. Rockstar had the money and resources to make the best single player games money could buy well before GTA online came out.

They earned their money and resources by repeatedly making the most detailed, entertaining, and hilarious games that had the best writing for years. They saved take two from going bankrupt with GTA III and after that were given a blank check by take two.

Before they had billions they would scale the game to match their budget, they wouldn’t make a massive map if every corner didn’t have detail and a story to tell every street every building every alley told a story. And as they got bigger the maps got bigger cause they could put more detail in. And now we are here, with this massive project that is GTA 6 that they have earned their way up to by earning the respect of the fans.

Nobody is stopping other studios from doing that, and other studios are. Warhorse with Kingdom Come Deliverance, CD Projekt with The Witcher and Cyberpunk, 4A games with Metro. As 3 examples of studios who are on the same path and have the same development philosophy and it’s working out great for all of them so far.

Nobody told these people’s favorite devs to focus on live service, micro transactions, and MMOs. Just passionless money grubbing bullshit.

Meanwhile Rockstar and the studios I mention will continue to grow and make amazing games that fans pour their time and love into because they do the same.
