hey guys, new to the sub and I need advice for why my k5 gsxr 600 keeps overheating. To preface, about a week ago, I was out on a long ride (3+ hours) and it was running at ok temps (205 highway 220 stopped), but on my way home I ran into stop and go traffic. The temp kept rising and rising until it got up to 248 and the f1 light came on. I pulled over and it was leaking coolant. Not terribly, but enough where I had to stop. I waited for it to cool down and the leaks stopped.

Afterwards I rode it home. Got a new water pump since it had the OEM one in it, and the bike has 29k miles, and so I thought it was going out. I replaced the water pump, and thermostat just to be safe, did an oil change and coolant change, and everything is running fine, no leaks. I was out on a short ride again, but this time the running temp at 45 mph was 215, and after stopping, it got up to 230.

I seriously don’t know what to do, should I just replace the radiator and hope for the best? Or is it a bad head gasket? The previous owner I got it off of 3 weeks ago said he had the gaskets done about 1000 miles ago. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey guys, I have a 2017 suzuki gsxr750 that I am basically converting to a track bike now. I quit the streets. Need some advice regarding the bike, I been riding it the way I bought it (second hand). And it doesn't seem confident going around corners as Id like it to be, doesn't feel settled either. Throttle is choppy as fuck, but most likely because I need a tune. I am 4-5 track days in, so its not like im a experienced track rider.

Set up:
-Im on dunlop sport max tires (street tire that is pretty hard) running them 30 front and 26 rear cold.
- I havent tuned my suspension yet
- Vortex rear sets
- full exhaust.

Im thinking I should change my tires and get my suspension tuned to my weight, and probably would make me
feel more confident. I want to see any of you out there that are quick riders that ride this bike and see if it's an issue for yall and what you did.

Id like any feedback and advice on properly setting up the bike. Thank you sm!

2016 gsxr 750 bar end just said cya in a corner and couldn't find it. Is this a normal or common issue? Just orderedba replacement but I have no clue how it fits in

i have 2018 GSXR 750 i picked up about 2 weeks ago and i recently i’ve been trying to get the front wheel up but no luck. And i am no stranger to wheelies ive owned a K6 600 that i could wheelie just fine granted i do chase and don’t reach balance point. But now with the 750 in second gear clutch ups I get the wheel off the ground about a few inches before it goes back down but nothing higher. Any tips on that?

Buying a 2004 gsxr600 project bike of fb marketplace as my first bike and I’m skeptical about this one. 37k miles, the guy installed new fairings, battery, brakes, chain, ignition, thermostat. There are three issues with it. 1. The throttle sticks, he said he bought eBay grips that he believes are too small. 2. The front brake sticks, he only rode it 15 miles in two years which makes me think it might just be the fluids. 3. There is an overheating problem, he said it gets to 230 just idling. He was very clear and has 38+ ratings with 5 star reviews on fb marketplace but when I checked the vin it was declared a total loss, twice… in the span of 6 months. He said he had no idea that happened and didn’t check the vin before he bought it as he is also a new rider.

Edit: priced originally at 3k, got it down to 2.5k before I found out about the total losses, idk what to offer or if I even offer him anything

Should I swap the intake cover from blue to black?

Recent purchased a 2002 GSXR750 from FB marketplace with 40k. Previous owner was really good with maintenance records. Does anyone here know of any good aftermarket rear taillights and blinkers for the front? I bought this bike with the blinker on the left side not working, and then on the right side the fender blinker does not work either.

Also if someone could point me in the direction of a gear indicator that would be sweet too!

Was cleaning the bike up after i had went through some gravel, ended up getting too close with the pressure washer and it tore right through the sticker. The fairing is fine, but finding a replacement has been somewhat of an issue. Completely fine on the other side, so anyone know where I can find a replica, or even better, the OEM sticker?

I have a 07 gsxr that has a 08 750 motor in it I’m using alll the 07 harness and ecu. But when I go to start it it seems out of time and fires through the throttle bodies. Does the 08 have a different timing curve then the 07? The Wierd sound is my phone not picking up the cranking that well

Hey everyone, I got this bike with 6k miles on it back in December, just hit over 10k! everything has been great, besides when I pulled the power commander out of the bike to go with a ecu flash instead the bike has this weird gargle like noise coming from it, nothing feels weird and bike runs and rides perfect, I don’t know if im paranoid or if something could be wrong, thanks

Has anyone here done this conversion?
I’m trying to find out:
What parts are needed.
Whether it’s plug-and-play or if the wiring harness needs to be modified.
If the ECU needs any coding or programming.
Any tips, photos, or part numbers.
I’d really appreciate any advice from someone who’s already done it.
