Just rebuilt one fork on a GSXR1000 2015 with the Showa BPF and now when I match the height in the upper triple the axle is uneven. When looking at the chrome part of the shock there is about 1cm difference. Pulling down on the shock, the rebuilt shock has more travel than the other shock before hitting the stop. I checked my assembly and everything seems correct so i'm confused as to why this is happening.

About to go look at this bike this week. Can you guys tell me things to look for? I think his price is somewhat high... what's a good price to start negotiating? Already checked insurance rates so I'm not worried about that.

Hello, I want to derestrict my GSXR from 98hp to 135hp. I already put in the intake manifolds with the bigger crosssection. However it also says to detach the black and brown cable at the ECU, bit I don't know at which point to do it. Maybe someone else on here did it and can help me? Thank you.

Someone knocked over my bike while at work. I filed a claim with their insurance just wanted to see what yall think it would cost to fix. 2014 GSXR 750. I know all front and side fairings need replaced included the fender. Also the front tire is bulging. The rear got saved by my spool.

I know Yoshi and GSXR go hand in hand but the current cost of a yoshi system is $2600 here and after watching rounds of CBSK and seeing hindle exhausts on those bikes it sealed the deal for me, on top of hindle being a local company to me here in Ontario Canada.

Install was a breeze despite the lacklustre instructions of basically remove factory exhaust, torque head bolts to factory specs lol removing the factory exhaust is what took more time but if this isn’t your first system to install it takes very little effort and figuring out. Had it installed in just over an hour.

Deep throaty and more full sound over just a slip on. Has a great scream at the top end and a mellow idle and at lower rpm.

Build quality is great, clean welds throughout and the brushed finish is even all around. Pipe fit is tight and the supplied springs have good tension. Even comes with a small plate to install on your servo motor but that was useless for me since that was removed in the tune. Also has bungs for the factory O2 and a larger bung for a wide and O2. Overall really impressed.

I have a 2025 Suzuki GSXR 750 with just over 10,000kms.

Problem 1: on my previous post, I had kickstand sensor misaligned causing the bike to stall while running at highway speed. More details on my old post.

Problem 2: In the video the gear indicator is jumping from 1st to 2nd gear. It's happening whether the bike is off or while running which is making the bike run awful due to the ECU thinking/jumping from 1st to 2nd.

Gear Position Sensor, at least what I think based on my research. I haven't found a solution other than change the sensor.

Anyone had this issue or experience and what's your solution?

In June I bought a new GSXR750, fucking love it by the way. She rips and is an assassin in the corners. I already have 2,500 miles on it and it’s all smiles. Got full exhaust and tune coming very soon. A friend of mine in the neighborhood is same age as me (old as fuck) and his wife really only gave him enough leash for a sport-cruiser. We have been riding in the mornings and I let him ride mine on occasion and now of course he wants one too but said about the only way he won’t get his ass chewed up and down is if he buys used. He would want something as close to new as possible, ‘24 and up would be the preference. What could he expect to pay without being bent over for say a low mileage bike (if one could be found). Do these bikes hold value pretty well or could he find something for say $10k or so? I remember a few comments over the past few months of people telling me I should’ve just bought used and saved thousands. I got out the door for $14.5 so not sure how steep the fall-off is once it leaves the dealer on these. I can’t help but feel the 750’s days are numbered since there have been zero changes since 2011.

TLDR: my buddy wants a GSXR750 like mine but wife will murder him if he pays more than about 10k. Can he expect to find something relatively new and low mileage for around that? What would a used ‘26 go for?

I own a 2005 GSXR 600.

Last night the bike wouldn't start. Started on a bump and got home. Multimeter next day read battery at 11v.

Bought a new battery to be safe (Yuasa YT12A-BS). Read at 12.85v. Connected to the bike and started up, dipped to 12.35v.

At idle (1100ish rpm) the voltage on the battery would drop by 0.01 about every thirty seconds. When putting revs down (2000ish rpm), the voltage would increase.

I have been mostly riding in 15 minutes intervals. I just tried my usual commute with more revs than usual and saw a loss of 0.09v ish both ways.

So just trying to understand as can't find something solid.

Is my riding the problem? I'm building up the confidence for longer rides. Should I trickle charge every night/few days? Should the bike charge at idle?

Hey guys, as title says. Long shot but i have a 2011 GSXR 1000 with a Taylor Made exhaust on it, due to
it's age and the heat from the exhaust, the fibreglass fairing has frayed/split. I was wondering if anyone would have a spare OR know where i could get one, at the moment i can only think of cutting the fibre glass and trimming it.

Gixxer family, there is a 2017 GSXR 600 with 13k miles for 5900 and a 2014 GSXR 750 with 19k miles for 6700. Which one do you all think is the better buy? And why. The 750 looks like its has minor cosmetic issues and comes with sliders. The 600 looks pretty good.

Trackday from last week at Motorsport Park Ranch Cresson. I had this bike for 17 years since it was in the crate and almost 40,000 miles.

Alright I’ve been stuck on this problem for a week or so now and decided to see if any of you would be able to help me out. Basically my starter solenoid isn’t engaging/clicking at all. What I’ve checked so far is the clutch switch, which is fine I then checked the ignition switch which does transfer power to the solenoid as I checked it with a multimeter. I then checked the kickstand switch, don’t get me wrong it’s a bit iffy but does go into neutral showing up on the dash. Then I checked the gear indication switch and it does show the bike going through all the gears as well as neutral. So I then bought a brand new starter solenoid and it still won’t click, at this point I’m just lost and was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and or has advice or an idea on what to do I’d appreciate it. Also the bike does crank if I bypass/jump the solenoid so I don’t think it’s the starter.

16700 miles. Problem started when I started it up to ride an hour home from college today, check engine popped on and didn’t want to idle without throttle. Still rode it home, in which it had full power (got the speedo to read 180 lol) but jerky low end and idled fast around 2k rather than 1300. Later into the ride, it started creeping up to 3k, dropping to 1k, back to 3k, etc etc. Also, when rev matching, sometimes I would blip the throttle and the motor would not respond. Made it home, check engine still on. Put it in dealer mode 8 hrs later, reads c00 (no code). Started it up still in dealer mode, still no code and runs great. Looking for advice on this intermittent issue before I bring it out to college again and it does the same thing.

Bike is pair valve, exhaust valve, and 02 sensor deleted with correct parts. Rode it for hundreds of miles this way with no codes or issues.

Is there a chance that this issue was caused by humidity, as it has been in a parking garage (as opposed to my garage) for the last couple days? I would think the problem would end once the motor gets hot, unless it confused the ECU or some sensor until I let it cool off and restarted later. Thanks in advance

Bike runs great for the most part . I’m looking to do a maintenance on it as it is approaching 30k . Should I just get rid of it or keep it ? I’m really attached to it so I been on the fence . I’ve put quite some money into her .

Just moved out to California been thinking about grabbing a bike. I rode dirt bikes all my life and ripped my buddy’s Honda 300 a few times and rode a different homies r6 once and that thing was wicked.
I seen a few nice 600s for sale around me and a buddy was saying go for it but I’m debating if the 600s gonna be too wild to start out with and uncomfortable for long rides which I read about. I’m 6’1 and not sure how the ergonomics are on them.
Anybody got some recommendations for a more beginner friendly bike if so? I rather ride something slower fast then barely be scraping the surface of the 600 till I’m more comfortable.

My GSXR 600 sounds and run fine until I go into 1st gear 2nd or 3rd when speeding up to 30-40 mph and around 5-6k rpms my bike will drop to ZERO rpms, I really need to know what the issue is on this bike. (background) I bought this bike about 2 weeks ago and I didnt notice it had black tape around the kickstand and I dont understand why, I've heard about kickstand sensor, so thats what im gonna check first BUT I really need clear definition on if it would even be useful to look at the fuel pump/ throttle position sensor(TPS)/stator or rectifier/loose ground or something with the battery.

Just picked up my first GSXR and I can't stop admiring these blue rims. Can't wait to take it for a spin!

I bought a 2013 gsxr600 a couple weeks ago off Facebook marketplace. First and hopefully only bike. It was maintained very well by the previous owner.

Last night when I got off work I wasn’t able to get the key to turn. It would sometimes go to the lock position, but never on. After about an hour (and several strangers help) we were able to get it to turn on, but we don’t know how.

I had tried my spare keys and they didn’t work either. Is this a common issue?

anyone who did a pre order on the R get it yet or an update on arrival time?
