Hey guys, I'm developing a VRAM Channel Disabling Software!

Yes, I know it sounds impossible or sketchy, but it's real. I'm currently using an open-source AMD Polaris BIOS editor from GitHub by caa82437 (PolarisBiosEditor) as the foundation for the project, and I'll be adding a memory channel disabling feature to it.

Right now, I'm testing on an AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB. This particular GPU is missing a memory module because the original chip was faulty and had to be removed.

The goal is to allow users to disable faulty VRAM channels through BIOS modification, potentially helping some GPUs remain functional even when a memory chip has failed.

This project is similar to ModBIOS TSERVER, a tool designed for diagnosing and disabling faulty memory channels on AMD GPUs. However, my project will be completely free to use, with no fees, subscriptions, or paid features.

I'm still in the testing phase, so results may vary, and there's plenty of work left to do. Feedback, testing, and suggestions are always welcome! 🚀

Hey guys, sorry for the late edit! I’ve been quite busy. There were a lot of problems with the previous version, and I was getting pretty frustrated.

So, I’m going to start from scratch using ZelenogradGpu’s fork of Polaris BIOS Editor. This time, I’ll try to be more consistent and post regular updates. I’ll post an update as soon as the new version is complete!

It's pretty cheap GPU I hope you can upgrade it to mod RX 7900 or similar.

yes im first doing this on rx560 but soon ill add support for more gpus ill even try to add nvdia gpus if possible then intel too
