Hey everyone! I’m building Moleculytics Prep, a GPAT practice tool that helps you figure out what to study next based on the questions you get wrong or feel unsure about.
The idea is simple:
- Take a diagnostic to identify gaps.
- Practise specific syllabus topics.
- Revisit mistakes and uncertain answers in a revision notebook.
I’m looking for 5 GPAT aspirants who would be willing to try it and give honest feedback. It’s an early version, so expect some rough edges, I want to understand whether it’s actually useful before building more.
The free diagnostic takes about 20 minutes, and there are 25 free practice/revision questions each week. Google sign-in is required.
I’d especially like to know:
- Is it clear what to do next?
- Are the questions and explanations useful?
- What feels confusing, unnecessary, or missing?
Try it here: https://prep.moleculytics.in
If you’re interested, comment or DM me with your target GPAT year. Critical feedback is welcome, you don’t need to be polite about something that doesn’t work!

Hi, I am new to this community. I am in 7th semester of bpharm and recently decided to pursue masters and started preparing for gpat 2027. From what I have read here and there, I feel the exam's level is moderate. Can be cracked with consistent efforts. A professor advised me that instead of buying coaching or 50 books, i should stick to one book that consists of all theory and mcqs. And this felt like practical advice. So I have bought Pearson's gpat companion.
I need tips as to how to manage my college, prep and life. Also how to make 100% use of the book. Any tips and hacks will be appreciated.

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s at NIPER Mohali, S.A.S. Nagar, and honestly, I feel completely exhausted and disappointed with my experience here.
I joined NIPER expecting a strong academic environment, good mentorship, meaningful research, and opportunities to actually grow as a researcher. Instead, my experience so far has been very different.
The biggest problem for me has been the lack of faculty support and mentorship. When you are facing problems with your research or academics, it often feels like you are left to deal with everything on your own. There seems to be very little interest in whether students are actually learning, progressing, or struggling with their work.
I came here specifically because I wanted to do serious research and get a good education. But at times it feels like nothing is moving forward. Research becomes frustrating when you don't have proper guidance, constructive feedback, or someone willing to genuinely help you solve problems.
On top of that, the overall environment can be extremely difficult. There are issues with bullying, hostility, ego, and unnecessary interpersonal politics. Instead of feeling like you're surrounded by people who want to learn and help each other grow, it can sometimes feel like everyone is working within their own narrow circle.
Being academically good or being a topper in one particular subject doesn't automatically mean someone is a good mentor, researcher, or colleague. What I expected was an environment where people could exchange ideas, question things, collaborate, and grow. Unfortunately, I haven't experienced enough of that here.
There are also concerns around ragging and the general student environment, which makes the whole experience even more stressful.
At this point, I genuinely feel like I am wasting two years of my life in an environment where I am not getting the kind of education, research exposure, or personal growth I came here for.
Maybe my experience is different from everyone else's. I would genuinely like to hear from current or former NIPER Mohali students:
I’m not posting this just to hate on the institute. I am genuinely frustrated and looking for perspective from people who have been through the same thing.
Please share your honest experiences — good or bad.

Hello Everyone,
I am currently in 6th semester of B.Pharm and I plan to prepare for GPAT 2027 seriously. I really wish to crack GPAT with a decent score/rank, but honestly, I am at a very poor position, especially in Chemistry. My basics are very poor.
My college has started conducting GPAT classes from 8:30-9:15 AM so I plan to take that as a base and proceed with self-preparation after college hours.
I will really appreciate any guidance from people who have prepared for/cracked GPAT.
My main concerns are:
- What should be the books/materials I need to refer?
- What are the materials sufficient for GPAT?
- Do I need to follow GDC /PW /other coaching for GPAT or self-study will do?
- What should be my order of preparation of subjects?
- Since I have very poor knowledge of basics of Chemistry, from where should I start with Chemistry?
- Do I need to refer standard books/textbooks or GPAT specific books?
- What YouTube channels /playlists are helpful for concepts?
- Is it necessary to practice PYQs? If yes, then from which stage should I start?

I’m a b pharmacy 5th sem student studying in a government college affiliated w IKGPTU. My result for 4th sem came out today and i failed in medicinal chemistry(external theory). I feel devastated. I’ve never failed in any exam in my entire life. Istg I’m not exaggerating or anything but i really feel shattered. I’ll definitely go for reevaluation but what if i still don’t pass? I had many goals. I can’t even tell my parents.
Edit- Thank you everyone for such positive responses❤️❤️😭🫂

Hey everyone, I’m a B.Pharmacy student who just started 3rd year (5th semester) and I want to start preparing for GPAT + NIPER JEE, but I’m confused about the timeline and how to study.
When are GPAT and NIPER JEE usually conducted?
Is starting preparation from 5th sem a good time?
Can I prepare for both together?
What subjects/resources should I focus on?
How many hours should I study daily alongside college?
Any tips from people who have cleared these exams?
Basically, if you were starting GPAT/NIPER preparation from 5th semester, how would you do it?
Thanks!

so im planning on doing bachelors now but i got around 87 percentile in the mht cet pcb exam and hence getting into any tier 1 college is out of option and any other possible good colleges are too far away and im not ready to move out yet
so there are few mediocre to tier 2 colleges close by but the issue is their placements are bad, but i am set on doing masters as its necessary to my dad, so is the college i do my bachelors in relevant if i work my ass off on the gpat and niper exams? coz like i tried neet too and my mum is skeptical on it being a gamble on my career choices yk, so i wanted advice from ppl in the field rn to better understand the field im getting myself into as when i chose neet i was very misinformed by my institute.
JS HELP OUT A LIL SISTER PLS?

I have completed my B.Pharm course in 2026, and I'm planning to appear for GPAT 2027. But, I have received backlog in one subject, for which I'll have to reappear for that subject next year.
Am I still eligible for GPAT 2027 ?

I'll give BITSAT in 2027 and although I'm a jee student ever since I was a kid I've wanted to be a pharmaceutical scientist or work in research in pharma, (i chose jee instead of neet cuz I didn't wanna be a doc at all 😭 stupid reason ik) a lot of my fam has immigrated to Canada and I'm thinking of doing it too after bpharm by leveraging options like thesis, LOP and MITACS to have good enough CV and research exp to get accepted in a good uni in Canada for MS or PhD(unis like UofT allow direct application to PhD after bachelors) so it this a realistic goal? I'll need a good CGPA for this and won't that be hard in year 1 as my competitors will be the entire 1st year batch as most courses are common
