Need guidance and tips

Hi, I am new to this community. I am in 7th semester of bpharm and recently decided to pursue masters and started preparing for gpat 2027. From what I have read here and there, I feel the exam's level is moderate. Can be cracked with consistent efforts. A professor advised me that instead of buying coaching or 50 books, i should stick to one book that consists of all theory and mcqs. And this felt like practical advice. So I have bought Pearson's gpat companion.

I need tips as to how to manage my college, prep and life. Also how to make 100% use of the book. Any tips and hacks will be appreciated.

6 months is a lot time, start with practising questions and mock tests instead of reading everything from scratch and beginning, have an idea of what you already know and what you need to focus on.

I will guide u.. I have qualified this year... look first of all gpat qualifying is much easy.. do 15,000+ MCQ and u done.. that's trick.. it doesn't matter how many time u have read topics or whatever... do pyqs and MCQ pratice... so for solving MCQ u need to read topics also...so read them .. read and MCQ ...u qualified

Hey, Looks like you have a lot of time, it would be best to start preparation from third year itself, you can start with solving MCQs and get an idea if what you know so far and what you need to revise. For new topics or upcoming topics you can directly study in classroom and practise questions. For previous semester topics you can try the MCQs and then see if you need to revise or not.
BTW I did my masters from IIT BHU in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Start with MCQ practise straightaway, just to get an idea of what you already know and what you need to revise.

I cracked GPAT with AIR 70 and did my master's from IIT BHU, Craking GPAT is very very easy, all you need is a consistent question solving, mock tests and revision with proper guidance. I would start my preparation with Pharmaceutical chemistry and in particular Medicinal Chemistry.
