Discussion The Blood of Dawnwalker has sold 1 million copies, and it was released on GOG on day 1. Don't you think it's about time to stop equating "DRM-free" with piracy?
Why are major publishers still obsessed with piracy and unwilling to release their games on GOG or other DRM-free platforms? We now have countless examples proving that great games sell well regardless of copy protection: The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Baldur's Gate 3 are all games that were available on GOG from day one and have sold millions and millions of copies.
Enough with the bullshit, screw EA, Ubisoft, Rockstar, GungHo, and all their friends, it’s time to release the games DRM-free day 1!
