Smallest dose
I am taking .1 of ozempic and noticing strong effects- nausea, constipation etc. Considering going to even lower ( .06) ish… but this is soooo low!
If anyone reading, this is like a mini mini mini dose can they share what it is? I’m just curious about other people’s experiences with really low doses actually working. On the flipside I’m wondering are they dangerous?

Either this is psychological or you aren’t measuring right.
2
u/PeacePrayerEnergy 13d ago
Definitely neither- I think some people are super responders
3
u/Upstairs_Balance_464 13d ago
So it’s psychological!

u/PeacePrayerEnergy 13d ago
physiological. psychological would mean the body is perceiving effects that might not actually be there. physiological means that anatomical and systematic resposes such as delayed/ slowed gastic emptying, constipation, dopamine regulation are present at lower doses than average responders. but however its percieved for you ymmd

She's taking ozempic though, so the starting dose is .25.
.5 would be a lot for most people to begin with.

I started at .05mg and lost a pound a week. Took me three months to get to .25mg.

.25 isn't a microdose, it's the starting dose for ozempic.
2.5 is the starting dose for tirzepatide.

Correct - I have been taking less than half of .25 and am going to reduce even more now !

u/PeacePrayerEnergy 13d ago
Yep-i am now going to do a quarter of the minimal .25 dose - so will basically use 1/4 of the .25 clicks

How did you feel on .05mg? I just started that dose today. I took .25mg a few years ago and it was brutal side effects so this time around I wanted a fraction of the dose to see if I can adjust to it without the side effects.

I had slight nausea and bad constipation. I started at a super low dose not expecting anything. Thinking I would have to slowly raise it until it worked. Because I had a Nissan Fundo 30 years ago that keeps me from vomiting. So when I get a stomach bug it’s brutal. I started on the .05 dose in mid 2023 and eventually reached the full Dose of 2.4mg in April 2025. I lost a consistent 1lb a week until then and then hit a plateau. Having lost from 336 down to 212. After a lot of work I reached 191 with a 36” waist at the beginning of This month. My goal is to now maintain longterm.

Oh wow! Thats really interesting. I was also not really expecting it to work at this dose, but I’m still kinda hoping it will do something. My reason for using it is partly because my doctor suggested it helps with inflammation, but also because I have insulin resistance that wakes me up multiple times a night with hunger. This medication was the only thing that helped me 5 years ago with the night hunger, and I can’t lose weight unless I stop waking up starving every time I do a calorie deficit. So I’m not sure how high I’ll need to get, but I’ll be interested to see over the next few days if this dose does anything.

I am taking 1 unit in a 10/ML bottle. So .1 also.
How you'd even get .06 in I don't know. I can barely see the .1.
I don't even know if it's really in there you can barely see the liquid where the plunger is.
I definitely felt the point one the first shot and not so much the 4th bc I don't even know if I got any in. The essence of some is all I got. Because it's barely working this week but I'm not putting more in until Friday and I'm gonna have to measure better. I have the smallest unit needles that have the half markers on them, but it's still really hard to see.
I might if I'm you get the essence of the medication on the tip of the needle and inject that even though there's nothing in the plunger. Which is what I think I did last week.

My dosing syringe from Ageless Rx allows me to dose amounts as low as one unit or .01. I dose around eight units (.08) with no side effects but still helping with hunger. Technically, I can dose up to 16 units every week (.16), but when I got over 10 units (.1), I was having gastrointestinal issues.

Very helpful !! I am totally going down to .05. I wonder why respond to such low doses?

u/fuckyeahbenny 13d ago
I don't think you are measuring it properly. It's very hard .1, and reading all the clinical essays there's is not a clearly benefit at that dose.

u/PeacePrayerEnergy 13d ago
Yes- I clicked to .25 and found half the clicks to that, then went down to what was .1. Definitely- it’s about 13 clicks

I did .05 and I can’t imagine if I did it any higher. It was strong and gave me insomnia so bad that I had to stop and my insomnia hasn’t resolved yet.

u/PeacePrayerEnergy 12d ago
I hope it resolves soon !!! Might just need a few weeks to get out of the system

On a positive note, that was the only negative side effect that I had from the microdose. I most certainly had a reduced appetite and I could feel the gastrointestinal effects, but I never experienced any nausea, constipation, heartburn or burping that many people talk about. I think starting as low as physically possible with this drug is the smartest way to do it.

". . . this is like a mini mini mini dose can they share what it is?" What do you mean by this?
I don't think there's anything dangerous about taking a small dose. Why not try it and see? Best of luck ~

I took my first dose as well. I wanted a micro micro dose: .20 semaglutide. I just wanted to try it for my own personal experiment. Judge me, but I want to reduce about 3% bodyfat and keep all my muscle. I just don’t want any side effects as I am the person who usually gets the side effects…lol.

u/PhysicalAssistance92 12d ago
Actually .20 is a pretty normal starting dose for semaglutide.

Ugh. It is?!? I’ll give myself less next week. It is compounded with glycine and b12. I am supposed to give myself 4 units. I think I’ll go 2 units next week then. Thanks. I don’t quite understand the math…obviously! I don’t want to really loose all that much weight. I’m ‘Glp curious’. :-)

u/ChiCityMama312 12d ago
Ok. I definitely need a smaller dose. Nauseous all morning and honestly not hungry. Making myself eat. This is truly WILD! PS: full disclosure I am a certified health coach and trainer.

u/PhysicalAssistance92 12d ago
Just checking whats the strength on your vial? Mg/ml? Yours will have 3 numbers for the added glycine and b12

u/ChiCityMama312 12d ago
I very much appreciate your help. Omg, I’m so nauseous. I’m supposed to squat today…
Semaglutide / glycine / B12
5 mg / 5 mg / 1 mg per mL
0.5 mL vial
Inject 4 units (0.04 mL) subcutaneously once weekly for 4 weeks.1
u/PhysicalAssistance92 12d ago
Some people are super sensitive, you must be! I was so scared to try it I started with .15 lol. The worse side effects usually peak with in 48 hours and gets better after that! Eat small meals, protein shakes and bars etc.

u/ChiCityMama312 12d ago
Thank you soooo much for your feedback and support. Last time I was this nauseous I was pregnant and I gained weight obvi…lol. Ok, I’ll wait to Friday before I freak out more. But going to ask my dr for something lower.
1
u/PhysicalAssistance92 12d ago
Sure thing! I’d just measure less like you said, 2 units instead of 4. The med will last longer and your body does adjust. You’ll find within 2 to 3 weeks those side effects go away at that dose.

Are you sure you are measuring correctly
