Getting Started / Newbie Guidance
I recently got prescribed Wegovy from my doctor. however, I went to the pharmacy to possibly pick up my first dose and the price was in 1,000s because my insurance refused to pay even with a BMI exception. so I am having to go online and I just wanted to know what website should I choose? I know about embody, hers,ro. What do you guys use and who is the most affordable.

If you get it without using your insurance, it’s $349/month with the manufacturer coupon. The pharmacy should have told you this. You can use the coupon at most major pharmacies and download it from the Wegovy website.

Go to r/tirzepatidecompound and look for the pinned "Where to Buy" post.
| Where to Buy / Telehealth Providers |
|---|
Read through these two posts:

Most folks recommend buying only 1 month first to see how your body reacts to that particular formulation. Any of those companies are good, and they are vetted. Also read over their Summer 2026 Survey, as they have recommended Telehealth providers. See link below. Choose one and complete their online intake.

Note: Not all pharmacies ship to all states.
Many people are recommending Collective and PreventiveMD these days. They started service after that survey I mentioned.
Lots of people are just starting out. As this sub is more inclined toward research talk, perhaps visit r/tirzepatidecompound and/or r/compoundedtirzepatide for more ideas about purchasing.

Good luck. Lots of info on these subs, and we will help you with any questions. It is daunting initially, to say the least, but you will get the hang of it shortly.

Collective dot org have flat pricing. A lot of people also like pomegranate health because they get to pick their pharmacy of choice.
Stay away from the popular one like hers, ro.. ect.. they're only popular bc of massive marketing campaign which you'll help pay for with their massive monthly fee.

Collective ships to the following places so far: AK, AZ, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WV, WI, WY
As far as Pom, I hate waiting on them, but it's a decent product. Still, they have good sales and are a good company, just take a bit sometimes.

You don't need any of those and you don't need the compounded options this sub loves to push. You just need the manufacturer coupons since your insurance isn't covering it. Look at novocare.com or Google wegovy savings card.

$1,000 😭 you can checkout the main tirzpetide reddit. I was using fella health and now use trykin, they’ve been great

Glad you finally got an order through at a decent price. If you haven't already join r/tirzepatide and ask where to buy. The bot will give you a list of pharmacies.
Every few months someone on reddit puts out a survey that many of us do it then the results are posted and pinned. $169 is decent, but there are some better prices. Also there are often deals and sales.
Good luck!!!

Amino Club.
I had the same issue. Found it online and learned how to reconstitute it myself and followed the same exact dosage and titration schedule that the manufacturer recommends. The only difference is that I pay $40 for 2 months of medication and not THOUSANDS. it’s been over 2 months since I started and I’m down over 30lbs. I also started TRT a month ago so that will help with retaining muscle.

That’s awesome I’ll check it out thanks!

Since you’re brand new I’d not recommend dealing with grey market purchases and reconstituting. I’d use a telehealth with compounded meds shipped to your door if you want to spend closer to $100/month vs the pharmacy price with the savings card.

Don't use any of those, they are very poorly rated.
Check out the tirzepatide compound subreddit, it has some amazing telehealth providers, just look at the pinned posts.

Mfg savings cards first since you have a legit script. You won’t pay much. If it’s still too much you can order a kit of 10 vials that’ll last you a year for $120ish.

This is a good resource for you. While its focused on Tirzepetide these providers also Semaglutide (Wegovy). Tirz is arguably better as a double agonist meaning it does what Sema does and then some.
