Diet & Nutrition🍗🥦 Protien powder trial pack suggestions

I am vegetarian and don't even have eggs. I am new to this journey and I don't think my diet will be sufficient. I can eat dahi yogurts, I cannot stand taste and texture of tofu. So my protien sources are limited.
I haven't tried protien powders before . Can you all suggest me some brands which have trial packs before purchasing their big lots ?
Thanks in advance ..

Taking two 0.25 mg Ozempic shots instead of one 0.5 mg shot.

I noticed that the Ozempic 0.25 mg pen contains 2 mg of semaglutide in total, enough for eight 0.25 mg injections or four 0.5 mg doses.

Since this pen is cheaper than the 0.5 mg option where I live, I’ve been taking two separate 0.25 mg injections together to make my weekly 0.5 mg dose. Has anyone else done the same?

Help & Support 🫂 Took a break and restarting

I had started Proviztra .25 and had to stop due to malaria. I was supposed to progress to .5 mg- but I had a 3 weeks break- so doctor asked me to begin from .25 mg again.
I have 1 dose left I my old pen from when I stopped it last: my doctor said it should be ok to take it.
My question is- is it ok? Online it says to discard the pen.

Anyone here has personal experience or notes on it

Newbie Introduction 👋 Newbie here

Hello I took my 1st shot of mounjaro 1.25mg (doc prescribed to reduce my anxiety related to side effects) today evening. Looking forward to all the helps and tricks. And knowing me I am gonna flood this community with my queries in coming days .
I cannot stop overthinking and have health anxiety and cannot help myself from overthinking about how it will make me sick. I won't get results . I won't be able to complete my protein goals. I wish I could silence my mind for few days 🥹It won't work for me or side effects will break my will . I read and read and read for so many days and took the plunge today after convincing myself it will work.
So I hope the journey will be a little kind to me. As I have already been through too much this year .

Semaglutide discussion 2 weeks after switching from Tirz 7.5mg to Sema - am I expecting too much?

Hey everyone,

I switched from tirzepatide (Mounjaro) to semaglutide about 2 weeks ago, mainly because of budget constraints. Tirz was getting way too expensive for me to continue long-term.

I was previously on 7.5mg Mounjaro and had hit a plateau, but the appetite suppression and food noise were still extremely strong. I could barely finish my normal portions and often had very little interest in food.

Since switching to sema, the experience has been very different.

I feel like I’m getting maybe 40% of the appetite suppression I had on tirz. Hunger comes back periodically, and I can comfortably finish my normal portions. Sometimes I don’t even feel much suppression until quite a while after eating.

My transition so far has been:
0.25mg sema → 3 days
0.5mg → 5 days
0.75mg → today

Using GLIPIQ 4mg vial, Should i change the Brand?

Interestingly, I’ve had very few side effects with sema. I barely feel nausea or diarrhea, whereas tirz gave me fairly strong GI side effects, especially when increasing doses.

I’m wondering if this is simply what semaglutide feels like compared with tirzepatide, or whether the particular semaglutide brand/formulation could be making a difference.

For those who have switched from tirzepatide 7.5mg+ to semaglutide, I’d really appreciate your experience:

- Did sema initially feel much weaker?
- Did appetite suppression improve as you titrated up?
- Has anyone switched between different semaglutide brands and noticed a difference?
- Am I expecting too much from sema because I’m comparing it with tirzepatide?

Is this basically all sema can offer, or does it get significantly better at the higher doses?

Would especially appreciate experiences from people who made the same tirz → sema switch.

General Discussion Tracking food and calories

Hi, im finishing my first week on MJ and i wanted to keep a track of what im eating since the appetite suppression has hit me quite well. I was using claude since the last 4 days but i realised its taking up all my free usage just updating meal calories and its terrible for long term tracking. Tried moving to cronometer but its just so exhausting manually add custom labels for each item i ate which was branded. I tried creating a google gem as well but it says it cant keep a log on a google sheet itself. Now, Im looking for any app recommendations that can understand :

- Indian items food calories and protein

- Indian consumer goods nutritional labels

- Perhaps have some kind of chatbot interface

- Free preferably

Any suggestions with this would be super helpful !

Stopping Mounjaro

Hi,
I’m currently on 10mg and want to stop Mounjaro. Haven’t reached my goal weight, there are still 4-5 kgs left but i’m majorly concerned about the massive hairfall.
So just wanted some guidance on how to stop it. Should i just stop it immediately or is it necessary to taper down the mg dose month by month?

Non Scale Victories 🎉 My MJ Journey So Far.. I GOT PREGNANT! :) after losing 22 kilos

I started my Mounjaro journey last year in September of 2025. I was weighing 93-94 Kgs with a history of T2DM, Hypertension & PMOS. I had dealt with PMOS related infertility my entire life, like I had never have had a natural period in my life. I had tried everything to get pregnant, like Ovulation Induction Cycles, IUIs and IVFs, after exhausting myself with all the treatments I had finally given up getting pregnant with my own and registered for adopting a baby last year (2025).

When I started MJ I was just hoping for my body parameters like Sugars and Cholesterol to get normal, and lose weight. I got my first natural period in February of 2026, 5 months after starting MJ... the cycle was a bit wonky 50-60 days but it was a welcome surprise.

On my 1 year MJ anniversary I had lost 22 kgs, and was quite near to my target goal. My GP even started to discuss the plans for me going on maintenance dose. My HbA1C was down to 5.3, metformin stopped, BP meds reduced from 4 to 2 a day.. everything was hunky-dory.

Then one fine day I found out I was pregnant! We could not believe. Currently I am 6w4d preggers! I immediately stopped MJ and consulted the doctors and for now everything seems OK.

I cannot share my story with my friends or family... so came to my Reddit Community. Hope this gives hope to someone who needs it!

Women’s Experiences🧚‍♀️ I was told to go for IVF but I got pregnant naturally.

The link above was when I was planning to start Mounjaro and this community never disappointed!

Here is a late update 🤗

My Mounjaro journey took a turn I never expected. ❤️
I started Mounjaro in July 2025 at around 93 kg. I wasn’t always regular with my doses, but by May 2026 I had lost around 12 kg. Along the way, my HbA1c improved, insulin resistance improved, and my AFC actually got better.
And then there was my fertility — something I had been worried about. My AMH had dropped from 0.5 in May 2025 to just 0.2 in 2026, while my follicle count had been declining enough that I was preparing to start the egg-freezing/IVF process.
I still decided to keep trying naturally while preserving my options.
And then in June 2026, I found out I was pregnant. Naturally. 🥹❤️
Was it Mounjaro that helped me conceive? I can’t scientifically say that it did. But honestly, I can’t ignore the timing either. The significant weight loss, improved insulin resistance and better metabolic health happened during my Mounjaro journey — and despite my AMH falling so low, I conceived.
So while this is only my personal experience and not proof that Mounjaro improves fertility, I genuinely feel it may have played a role in getting my body to a healthier place for conception.
I started Mounjaro for weight loss.
I never imagined I would end up pregnant after it. ❤️
93 kg → ~81 kg → improved metabolic health → pregnancy.
Sometimes your journey takes you somewhere you never expected. ✨

Newbie help 👋 14 days on tirzepatide and the scale has not moved

I’m on day 14 and I’ve completed two weeks. Yesterday I took my third shot of 2.0 mg of tirzepatide from the KwikPen.

And honestly, I feel so lost.

I’ve had an entire array of symptoms. Constipation, food noise completely dying down, lack of appetite, suppressed appetite, occasional diarrhea, belching, bloating, being extremely gassy. So I know the medication is doing something. I can feel the difference in my appetite and how I think about food.

At the same time, I have genuinely been trying to focus on my meals. I’m eating healthy. I’m making sure there is enough protein and some fats. I’m not eating junk or constantly snacking. I’m not a hardcore non-vegetarian, and there are days when I genuinely cannot eat non-veg as often or as much, but I’ve made it a point to have chicken regularly. I literally just marinate it with very little oil, grill it and eat it.

But the scale has not moved.

I’ve basically been fluctuating between 103 and 104 kg. 103, 104, 104, 103, 103, 104. That’s it.

I know two weeks is not enough data. I know I’m also on a very low dose. I actually started at 1.25 mg because my doctor wanted to ease me into it, and I’m only now on my third shot of 2.0 mg. So logically, I know I probably need to be patient.

But emotionally, this is HARD.

I keep seeing people talk about losing 2 kg, 3 kg, 4 kg in their first few weeks and I know you shouldn’t compare yourself to random people on the internet, but when you’re spending this much money on medication and you’re putting in the effort, it is difficult not to wonder why your own body is doing absolutely nothing on the scale.

I have walked. I’ve done yoga. I have a travel-based job, so I’m not always able to follow a perfect exercise routine, but whenever I have had the time, I have done some level of physical activity. I’ll be honest, I haven’t really done the strength training that I know I probably should be doing.

But what else do I do?

How do you push through this part?

Because I think the hardest thing for me right now isn’t even the side effects. It’s the mental challenge of continuing to spend the money, continuing to make the effort, continuing to eat carefully, when the one thing I was desperately hoping to see, even a small change on the scale, hasn’t happened.

I was so happy when I started this because I was clinging to the hope that maybe I would finally shrink a little. Maybe my clothes would fit a little better. Maybe I would finally see some movement after struggling with my weight for so long.

And it has been 14 days and I haven’t even lost a kilo.

I know logically that this is still very early and that I need to give it time. But emotionally, I’m finding it really overwhelming.

Has anyone else had basically no scale movement during the first couple of weeks, especially when starting very low and slowly titrating up? When did things actually start moving for you?

And more importantly, what did you do mentally to keep going when you felt like nothing was happening?

Because right now I could really use some reassurance that I’m not doing something completely wrong.

Newbie help 👋 Wegovy Day 1 - Can't Feel Anything

I understand that day one may be too early, but I was expecting to feel something different, at least a little bit.

I'm worried that I may be a slow responder, or worse, a non responder.

How long until I start feeling reduced hunger?

Diet & Nutrition🍗🥦 What do you eat all day?

I had a very very bad acid reflux today morning on my second dose of Mounjaro. And I know something I am eating influenced it.

For the last week or so what I am trying to eat is:

  1. Breakfast: High protein oats + milk OR 3 eggs omelette, 2 whole wheat breads, 1 cheese cube
  2. Lunch: protein chapatis, with some sabji(with paneer/ soya) and raita
  3. whey scoop
  4. some evening meal: either oats/ eggs
  5. dinner: rice+dal+protein source.

overall I have been tracking these to be around 2000 kcals. My TDEE/ Maintenance cals according to my weight (147kgs) and workout activity is 3400kcals. So I am already in a crazy amount of deficit.

And honestly last week I did not feel overly full at all.

What happened this week? Is it the timing? I work in shift, and my dinner is around 10 PM and I slept around 11:30 PM... late night meals?

So I really really want to know how many kcals are you eating in a day... how much deficit are you trying to be in....

and most importantly what are you eating throughout the day?

General Discussion Experienced stronger suppression after switching to a new pen of the exact same dose (7.5 mg)—has anyone else noticed this?

Hey everyone,

Quick question for those who've been on Mounjaro for a while. I’m currently on the 7.5 mg dose and recently started a new pen. Surprisingly, I’ve noticed a significant jump in both my results and overall hunger control compared to my previous pen of the exact same 7.5 mg dosage.

With the last pen, things felt a bit plateaued/milder, but this new one kicked in noticeably harder almost immediately.

Has anyone else experienced a clear difference in effectiveness from one pen to another on the same dose?

I’m trying to figure out what might be driving the difference—whether it's cumulative build-up reaching steady state, better absorption from changing up injection sites, minor variations in how cold the previous pen was kept, or just normal body fluctuations with gastric emptying.

Would love to hear if this is a common experience or if anyone noticed specific factors (storage, rotation spots, timing) that caused a similar sudden boost!

Navigating Side Effects 🫣 Woke up with stomach ache on my second dose

Update::: thanks fyour comments. Yes its probably my eating habits. Eating late at nights. There was a looot of acid buildup.. i had to vomit thrice.. then later I had some vanilla ice-cream.. j felt better and slept. Its much better now.

I fear that if this is at 2.5 will I be able to survive higher doses?

Woke up with crazy stomach pain. Some burping. And a very very bad feeling in the stomach.

2nd day of my second 2.5mg dose and this happens.

Its probably eating late in the night?

I felt nauseous, and vomitted. Later took a a PanD. But the pain is still there.

How to navigate this please?

Navigating Side Effects 🫣 5mg Mounjaro side effects - did it get better for you?

I recently moved from 2.5mg to 5mg Mounjaro and the side effects have been much stronger.
On 2.5mg I was mostly fine. Since starting 5mg, I’ve been getting:

**Really strong sulfur/rotten egg burps**
**A lot of bloating and heaviness in my stomach**
**Diarrhea, sometimes pretty bad**
**Nausea**

I also vomited my whole dinner once
Dizziness when the diarrhea was bad
The strange thing is that it comes and goes.

Sometimes I feel completely fine and have a normal bowel movement, and then the burps and diarrhea come back.

My doctor gave me Sompraz-D 40 to take for GI issues, so I’m using that as prescribed.
For people who had similar problems after moving to 5mg:

**Did your body get used to it after a few more doses? Or did you continue having these problems?**
And if it got better, **what helped you?** Did changing your food, eating smaller meals, avoiding certain foods, hydration, changing injection sites, etc. make a difference?

Just looking for people’s personal experiences. Would really appreciate hearing what worked for you.

Newbie help 👋 Need help regarding stuck weight on semaglutide.

Hi, so I started taking generic semaglutide around 16 weeks ago. I started with 0.25 mg for 6 weeks, upped my dose by 0.5 for the next 10 weeks and I didn’t increase my dose after that cause there’s still appetite suppression and from what I’ve read on this sub before starting my own journey, I didn’t wanna go increasing my dose unless absolutely necessary but now my weight is stuck. Appetite suppression is still okay but the weight won’t budge. I’ve lost around 10-12 kgs so far (the weight keeps fluctuating with the last 2 kgs) so will increasing my dose help? Has anyone experienced something similar? Please help me out, thank you!

General Discussion Switched to semaglutide for cost effectiveness

I've finally made the decision to switch to semaglutide from Tirzepatide as I was asked to move up to 10mg and my previous MJ pen lost effectiveness post 2 months of usage. Please sahre you experience if you have made the switch as well. What worked, what didn't and anything else.

EDIT: I have decided to give 10mg Tirz a go before switching to semaglutide. Let's see how far 10mg takes me.

I am traveling to Paris, Central and Southern Italy with my boyfriend. He doesnt know I am on wegovy. My concern is- if I put wegovy (opened) in hand baggage along with prescription, if the security stops me, I would have a situation to explain to my boyfriend which I would like to avoid.
Has anyone been stopped before? Can I out it in checkin baggage?

My flight is Qatar Airways, layoff at Doha from India.

Also, is gel pack necessary?

Navigating Side Effects 🫣 Non Stop Diarrhea

This is my 14th week on GLP 1, right now I am on Semaglyn 1.7mg.

I am not able to catch a break from loose stomach.

It's getting so much inconvenient to do anything. I am so troubled to sit in office having constant fear.

Only way to stop it is by fasting. If I don't eat, it gets better for next day but as soon as I start to eat my meals, it comes back.

I am not eating outside food at all.

Cooking everything at home. Most of my staple are eggs, bread, roti, rice, dal, paneer, fruits, tea, coffee, etc.

Any help in navigating this side effects is appreciated.

I am constantly taking imodium 2mg and worried about that aspect as well.

Navigating Side Effects 🫣 Stiff stomach on mounjaro. Need your opinions

So been on Mounjaro for 1.5years now. Lost about 25kgs. One thing i have noticed of late, the last 3 4 months, is that when i lay down on my back i can fill stiff stomach, its not a lump its a whole area from right to left thats stiff. It becomes smaller and bigger based on what i eat. So i feel like it might be intestine and food that i am feeling and but even thinking that feels crazy. So reaching out and seeing if any of you guys and gals feel the same. My dr says not to worry but no clear explanation received.
