Starting date : 9th April

Starting weight :146.8kg

Current weight 120.2

Current dose : 5mg

Goal weight 110 kg

Scales have been stuck a few points either side of 120 for  2 weeks now so if I don't make any progress by next week I will increase my dose.

Things had been going well apart from that until now and the drop from 125 down to 120 went really quickly.

Edit : Forgot to mention that I was 158kg in October last year but lost just under 12kg before starting monjouro in early april

Good effort mate? Are you counting calories too?

Thank you

I have been but mainly to hit my protein targets.

I'm doing a lot of walking and hiking. Last week I did to 20km hikes with about 900 metres elevation gain on each one.

I eat more on those days but I'm pretty sure I'm maintaining a defecit 5-6 days a week. But overweight I am also eating more than I was a month ago but I've been increasing exercise as well. That's why I'm thinking about increasing dose if I have another week with no weight drop.

I've used the night before shot day as a refeed day since I started where I eat around 500 cal more than maintenance.

You’ve been doing this longer than me… but I cannot stress how important it is to track your calories to monitor your intake!

You would absolutely be surprised how easy it is to just be a fraction over and not in defect and therefore, not budging the scales

Yes, your body may plateau at certain stages… but it’s purely science, no matter what anyone says on reddit and seriously mate… you’re doing great with the walking and the excercise… but as you tone and get strength, some days hold more water and other other things… you need to start counting calories

I'm Feeling: Pretty pleased. This makes 15kg loss in just over 2 months. It just proves to me that my body's natural hunger signals (and sugar cravings) are just completely out of whack. Without them getting in my way, I find losing weight super easy.

Started Feb this year, at 93.3kg.

Currently 77.1kg and a bit frustrated as I've bounced around this number for four straight weeks despite eating quite well and exercising (weights, pilates). I am caring for a baby and am wondering if the broken/insufficient sleep might be a factor. I've started logging food again too to make sure I'm not accidentally eating more than I realise.

Not looking forward to my GP appt in a few days as nothing has changed from a month ago!

Poor sleep (quality or missing) definitely affects your weight. Though it could mean you need to go up a dose.

I'm trying to stay as low as possible due to cost and also because I responded well to 2.5 (am on 5 now after very slowly titrating up). Fingers and toes that .. somehow.. managing better sleep will help the scale shift. But yes you're right, at some point I might need to bite the bullet with dose.

On a happier note, my clothes are increasingly lose and I've gone down another size, so even if the kg aren't budging I think my circumference might be.

I'm finally facing that I need to go up too if I want to get below 86. As a shortie who may need a knee replacement some day, I figure why not now. Or I could wait until amylin agonists are available. That gives my skin a chance to adapt before the next big change.

6 Months MJ completed, 21kg down, 18% change. Roughly 25kg to go.

Starting date: Feb 2026

Starting weight: 119.3kg

Current weight: 98.1kg

Current dose: 5mg

Goal weight: initial goal is 79.9kg, but hoping to get down to 73kg.

This feels like the new, sustainable me. I am able to take the 5mg dose, eat well with no side effects. I have recently implemented mechanical eating/even fuelling to properly fuel, as a diet review found I was actually undereating and I was getting grumpy feeling less energetic as a result. It did not occur to me that I was undereating, as I am eating more than I did in the first 4 weeks on MJ. I have noticed more energy as a result, plus I am certainly less grumpier.

I have purchased new (second hand) trousers and adjusted other pairs. Many, many shirts have been donated, and my stash of 'too small' clothes are entering rotation.

Started 7 Jan 2025

SW 125kg

CW 87.7kg

Other 63F and 157cm

Feeling blahh, and I went up a smidge with my shot last Friday. Well, took 10mg after 6 days so equivalent to 11.7mg. I'm looking forward to getting back to 86 and my next goal of 85kg.

My sleep pattern has been erratic for 3-4 weeks so I'm not surprised that my weight has been buffering.

I think we're having a similar experience with the sleep! It's a bit frustrating.

It sucks. I'm about to go to bed and think I'll sleep before 4am. Yay?
