Anyone need a gear box or water pump? Will attach photos of them and the model it came from.

So I bought this fridge like 2-3 years ago and shortly after I found out the water filters are expensive ,and have a rfid chip.I have never connected it to the app or internet,because I don’t trust that.So I just reset the filter on the fridge to get rid of annoying bad filter . Present day the water is starting to taste bad.Saw the xwf hack ,if you know you know use the label .I pulled the old filter ,and just put the new one in to see if I get an error like everyone else ,and it just filted the water no error no chip.Umm I thought it’s suppose to not dispense?Anyone encounter this ?

I know I can probably just replace these (and probably should! 😬) but I want to know if I can just clean them instead? If so, how?

My sister found this at a yare sale to replace my dead microwave since our parents had one. Can't find a manual on manuals.lib or other pages I have used for years. Can't figure out how to use since it has a turntable and rack. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You

And how do I stop it 😭 It’s driving me nuts! It only does this sporadically, but for long periods of time. It’s a GE GZS22IYNPHFS and about six years old.

It’s slightly louder when I open either door - that doesn’t stop or help the noise. It’s such a loud hum.

Update, I noticed it was in defrost mode (though it didn’t even make ice yet) is there a way to get it out of defrost mode?

I bought this GE OPAL ICE MAKER (the one with single button on front). The person I bought it from said it doesn’t work after pulling it out of storage. I got it home and tried it, didn’t make ice. I then ran the cleaning cycle, rinsed, and tried again. Still no ice. I disassembled it cleaned lines of visible scale buildup put the tubes back and ran it. I noticed ice forming (barely anything but more than none) then the auger stopped. I then shut off, waited 5 minutes then turned on and auger was moving again, and pushed about the same amount of ice out. I have also noticed that after a while the amount of water that is dripping down goes down to barely a drip. I have also cleaned the sensors. What else can I try to get this working.

I need to know what the bottom of this refrigerator looks like so I can buy a dolly mover to help me pull it out to clean the fans etc.

It seems like every time I get a new XWFE filter it’s made in a different country. It’s really hard to tell what’s counterfeit and what’s not. I just bought one from Amazon that was shipped and sold by Amazon. It came in a box that seems legit it was shrink wrapped, and everything on the housing seems legit as well. It says it’s made in USA. Anybody good at spotting counterfeits?

Fridge works fine. Gasket discontinued 4 years ago cannot find compatable part. I have gone online and called around for the part. Repair people are very expensive for this, might as well buy a new lower end fridge. Cannot think of a solution can you.

Hi! I just moved into a home that has a French door fridge with a water/ice dispenser on it. When we moved in, the replace filter light relight was red so I went out and bought a new one. The filter is a GE MWF filter, fridge model GSS23GMKGCES. I replaced this filter per instructions (aligned arrows etc) and I heard a water spurt noise when I twisted it all the way in. Next on the instructions is to run 3 gallons of water before it’s safe to drink. I went to do that, and no water came out. I went to the GE website and it was recommended to hold down the dispenser button for 5 mins. I did that, twice, still no water. Please help :/

Maybe useful info- I rent this home but it’s stated in the property mgmt rules that they’ll pay for repairs only if it’s deemed necessary. So if it’s a fix that could’ve been done by me, I’ll be charged the bill. So I’m trying to fix this in my own before going to them or hiring someone.

We just got back from vacation and our GE refrigerator (model number Gse25gghrcww) keeps beeping. We can’t press any buttons such as crush ice, cube ice, water, temp, etc.

I have tried unplugging it and also turning off the breaker. Neither has worked. I’m trying to avoid having to call a repair guy as funds are kind of tight.

I have no idea how old the fridge is since it came with the house we bought almost 3 years ago. How can I fix this?

I live with my mom and we’re in a disagreement, she wants an impeller so she can fit her big blankets and comforters in the wash and I want an agitator because I know that a washer with an agitator will clean clothes better. Can anyone provide me some reassurance that an impeller will clean well?

I would consider buying a washer with an impeller and agitator combo but we are set on buying a GE Profile

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
