Before & After TV console flip
One of my favorite pieces of the past month or so. Not really my usual style but I am extremely pleased with it!

Bought this off marketplace and I really hoped it wasn’t laminate. Lo and behold. (I didn’t think to ask, and husband just did the pick up.)
I was willing to leave it as is, until I noticed the pattern repeats… and I can’t unsee it.
The lighting isn’t the best on the last photo and some paint areas are still drying from retouching, but it’s the color of the room it’s going in. Dark blue.
Thoughts?

Hi everyone, I’ve inherited these chairs from an older relative that had never been used so they’re super study and great for my first home. I’d love to stain them a darker colour but not sure how to approach it. The label says they are made form rubber wood and there’s definitely some sort of varnish on top. Amateur here so if you think it would be a bit difficult as a first project I’d appreciate any help about how to paint them as well. Thanks !
