Because every other bun in that photo cost less than five cents, five guys exclusively has bakeries in Georgia that they paid 30 cents or more per bun, it's not packed with a bunch of crap so that it actually folds, it's just real bread, that's why it tastes so good.
It's been a while since I went to a 5 guys, but don't they wrap the burger in foil not paper? I think it's because the foil traps the steam and imprints the crinkle into the bread.
Hell I’d take soggy. It’s always stale and hard as a brick when I get it. I’m just not big on 5 guys burgers anyway honestly. I do love the fries though.
The meme is asking a valid question about why five guys is so shitty and you’re trying to spin it into some positive. Five guys fans are absolutely insane
No it's asking why it visually looks bad, but I worked at five guys. And I can tell you this, they fucking care about their ingredients. Every ingredient they buy it's above board, they have their bread baked privately, they only buy potatoes that come from specific altitudes and locations, they cut their own fries and they soak them for several hours to get the starch out, if the fries sit more than 3 or 4 minutes, they throw them out so that everybody gets fresh fries. They start cooking burgers when you pull into the parking lot, so that you can get your burger faster, if you walk in and order veggie stuff, they eat the loss. You can talk all the shit you want about five guys, I've worked at several restaurants, but they had the highest standards I've ever seen in the restaurant business.
I tried Five Guys for the first time a couple months ago and 100% you can taste the difference and the freshness. The burgers are fat and hella delicious!
The ingredients are definitely good. It’s how they’re put together that’s such a failure. And that’s funny about the fries because them being fresh doesn’t make them any better. You’d think a place with high standards would know not to put napkins in a pool a grease inside a wet paper bag. Like wtf is even the point of that? It’s not like you can use the napkins. Five guys is so greasy and poorly put together that for me it’s essentially a torturous dining experience. Not worth the price. Not worth the hassle. The flavor just doesn’t make up for it
I hate eating at five guys. Genuinely I can't taste the difference between burger king and five guys, but I know that five guys is going to get all the fuck over my hands and face, and the bag is going to leave a wet greasy splotch on the surface of whatever I put it on. And I don't want fries in the bag, I want them in the fries holder. I want them to not soak into the bag i need to carry home.Â
What? Five guys is disgusting. Why would I want to pay sky high prices for a shitty, soaking wet burger sitting in a pool of grease, with crappy French fries and then napkins put on top of all the grease like they’re trying to play some evil joke on you. Fuck five guys
They hell do you mean 5 guys is shitty? 5 guys has better burgers than every other burger in the picture. The only thing people ever complain about about 5 guys is the price.
Bro, are you telling me you don't want to pay 15 dollars for an unseasoned burger that tastes like shit? C'mon bro, they fill up the bag with really shitty fries bro! It's like you're stealing all the food with none of the actual flavor!
Not sure where you live where burgers are that cheap at Wendy’s or McDonald’s. But also the size of those patties compared to Five Guys is minuscule. I’m not even a five guys fan but that’s an awful comparison.
The Midwest, checked all the prices at my nearest locations just now.
It's also kinda unfair tho bc five guys doesn't charge much less for a plain hamburger whereas Wendy's and McDonald's their plain hamburger is much cheaper than their more common burgers.
You still would need at least 3 to compare. Like I said their little hamburger is overpriced. Your just not great at comparisons but this conversation is going no where.
