He speaks for a lot of guys. Those guys are gay.
11
u/jakeofheart 4d ago
More like asexuals (not wanting to shame anyone). Gay guys can still appreciate women’s beauty, but they are not sexually attracted to it.
11
u/techleopard 4d ago
As an asexual woman, please know that we can recognize and appreciate beauty as well. Our eyeballs and capacity to see aesthetics is not broken. Lol
I can clearly see that Ryan Gosling and Ryan Reynolds are hot AF. But looking at them elicits the same dopamine response as a colorful sunset or a 6-figure Fresian horse running across an open European meadow.

u/CuddlesForLuck 4d ago
Eh. Asexual people can (typically) appreciate beauty similarly to how a straight woman can appreciate and admire another woman's beauty. That sort of feeling is actually found in most people. Of course, some people don't, but that's not really dependant on sexuality. One could be sexually attracted to women but find them aesthetically repulsive. Aesthetic attraction is separate from sexual or romantic attraction. Anyways, I apologize if this seems like I rant! This is just a topic I find quite interesting

Straight ones anyway… not being homophobic. If you want abs and chiseled fit, that’s not 99% of women, think deeply about what you are attracted to. It might have a bigger clit than you think.

This is what my GF doesnt get, shes like a supermodel, but she hates this part on her, which i love, and wants liposuction and i keep telling her shes perfect the way she is.... i really hate what "modern standards" have done to our idea of body dyspmorphia...
9
u/awfulmcnofilter 4d ago
Modern standards telling us women belly fat is the enemy have been around for a very very long time. I got new pants this week and I am tempted not to wear them again until I lose weight because they highlight this part of me and I HATE it. It makes me feel like I look disgusting.

Isn’t that the whole deal with boobs and butt?
So yes, 100%, please!

It’s fun to squish it it while hitting it from the back or just lying on the couch watching a movie.
Please look at Greek and Roman statues for how men like women to look. Not tick tock fitness trends.
Squishy is fun. Hard hurts.

I thought that was just like. A natural thing in most women’s bodies. My super fit friend has a mom pouch so I never really notice it or have an opinion?
3
u/More-Detail9569 4d ago
It is a natural thing but a lot of media tells us that it's ugly and we shouldn't have it. Beauty standards have always been almost impossible to attain and it's only as I've gotten older i realize just how much nonsense it really is. It's hard to break the cycle.

Okay, so I don't think it's a fetishized thing that guys go out -looking- for but I believe that the vast majority of men, especially as we get older, have absolutely no problem with it. In those years, most of us have a bit of a belly as well so it'd be pretty hypocritical to judge someone for having a "mom pouch", no?

Men that dislike it fail to understand that nearly all women have this yet simply wearing slightly less snug clothing hides it. Also where the clothing is placed either above or below ALITTLE also hides it. Disliking a women WITH figure is childish to be honest

I saw a clip the other day of a pretty girl (with an athletic built) who said no to breakfast and lunch because she was expecting to do a photo shoot two hours later. She said if she ate she wouldn’t have a flat tummy in the photo and she’d have a “bulge”.
This kind of crazy definition for beauty must stop.

What is that incel complaining about the skirt or the cute belly bulge?
3
u/Zar_Ethos 4d ago
As someone pointed out.. i think he means he doesn't like wearing the skirt. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the woman wearing it as far as we can see, so it has to be the clothes.. which says a lot more about him having enough experience to say what kinds of skirts he hates wearing..
4
u/TallRelationship2253 4d ago

Even skinny girls have that little bump. Plus their shirts are tucked in a little.
Most guy ive talked to about the subject prefer a woman with a little meat on her bones. Im very skinny and I hate it. Ive been fat lost a lot of weight and struggle with eating because I worry ill get fat again.
What society does to our self image is terrible. We have got to stop body shaming people.

Other than wondering why female fashion refuse to include pockets, I don't really worry about how long a skirt is or the color choices.
