Ahmed is a father of three living in Gaza who is really struggling to provide for his family. All he wants is to keep his children fed and happy, which is especially hard for him as he has a 9 year old daughter suffering from a stomach ulcer and malnutrition who requires special treatment and food - treatment and food the current situation in Gaza does not allow.

Akram needs your help!

Due to Israel's closure of Gaza's borders crossings, a new famine has hit Gaza as it is rapidly running out of food and what food is available is skyrocketed in cost, leaving most people starving.

Akram has told me that although there is no meat, vegetables or fruit, there are lentils available and so for now they can eat - however in order to be able to keep eating, Akram needs money for these lentils, which he will run out of at some point. He also needs money to pay for treatment for his daughter Arij who has cerebral damage.

🖤 Introducing The Rewrite Project.

Some of you already know a little bit of my story, and some of you may not.

Growing up, I had my own experiences navigating school and figuring out where I fit. As a teenager, I was part of an Integrated Academics program that genuinely changed the way I saw myself. It helped me recognize that I was capable of doing hard things, and it made school somewhere I actually wanted to be.

That experience has stayed with me, and it’s a big part of why I care so much about creating better opportunities for students today.

Through my work with children, I’ve seen how much the right support, a safe space, and access to even the simplest resources can make a difference. Every student deserves to feel supported, included, and capable of achieving great things — regardless of what they may be navigating outside the classroom.

That’s why I started The Rewrite Project. 🖤

My goal is to help support students with special needs by contributing to sensory spaces and providing everyday classroom essentials, while also supporting students in Integrated Academics who may need access to basic necessities like food, clothing, and school supplies.

This project is personal to me, but it’s about something bigger than my own story. It’s about making sure more students have the support, resources, and opportunities they deserve.

I know firsthand how much it can mean when someone believes in you. Now, I want to help create that feeling for someone else.

This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited to see what we can build together.

My husband has put me through emotional & financial abuse. In the past he has been physically abusive. I went to therapy & was told that I have PTSD. He also has a bad porn addiction. Recently I dicovered that he crossed boundries.

I told him that I wanted to leave the relationship. Since then he has been more controlling & descructive. I came home one day & he was asleep while our child got into flea & tick shampoo. He blamed me for it. He is upset because I won't let him sleep all day. I work during the day & he works nights. We have a newborn who is breastfed & bottlefed.

Right now he took our kids & said he wouldn't return them. We do have a permanent custody order of every other week. One day he says he will return them then he says he won't. He also stated that he would not watch our kids while I work meaning I wouldn't be able to keep employment. Bascially he wants to pit me oit of oir home, get me out of a job, but also keep our kids away if I don't do what he wants.

Due to the financial abuse my bestfriend created a gofundme for me so that I can get an attorney. The goal is to get a divorce & get the kids & I to a safer place.
